At this moment, a person might have died
At this moment, a murderer lied
At this moment, a homeless, hungry child cried,
At this moment, a spoilt child pushed her food aside
Maybe today a wish was fulfilled ,
Maybe tomorrow a promise will be broken,
Maybe yesterday a birthday went uncelebrated
Maybe today a funeral goes unattended
We stay blissfully ignorant of all this
Wrapped up in our own silly struggles
Not looking beyond the confines we have made
Most conveniently
. We never stop to think for once,
The universe is expanding.
