It was one of those days again
Where she would think if she was even sane
Up in the rooftop, dusty and rough
Was far better she thought, it’s enough
It came and went...the voices
Of the people who would never have been her choices
Their crumbling marriage, their fading daughter
It’s like people nowadays dont even matter....
So she gazed at the stars....listening to the traffic and the cars
Looking past the dark abyss
For more and more stars like these...
Those stars which would shine brighter, if you just looked a bit more closer
Those stars which could sing, if you just took it under your wing
Some days were bad.....others were worse
Like a storm with the biggest lightning surge
She wondered about her friends, how they were happy
How is one even able to BE this happy??
Maybe it’s just her,who’s living on this thin line...
Of course it’s her, but not a day has passed where she would look for a sign...
A sign from somewhere, a sign from somebody
Well at least tonight, she had the stars to keep her company.....
