Chapter - 23
Whatever had happened, Namita was at fault, but her mother was even more responsible. She had lived five decades of her life, but she had no understanding of the world. Her thinking would put even a small child to shame.
I had taken Namita to Lalita Pawar , but she had refused to give her entry in the house.
"I can't keep such filth in my house."
Namita clapped her hands and retorted to her mother:
"Wow, what a thing! A drum full of filth doesn't want to accept a little bit of filth."
We returned disappointed.
On the way, Namita expressed her remorse and talked about her in-laws.
"They treated me not as a daughter-in-law, but as a daughter. I have caused those innocent people a lot of pain."
"I think I should go back o them... We should sincerely apologize to them. They will surely forgive you, and you will get your son back."
And we immediately went to their house.
They accepted Namita without saying anything and forgave her. But they reprimanded her a lot for abandoning the child.
"Even if not for our sake, how could you, as a mother, abandon your child?"
An ocean of tears welled up in Namita's eyes.
She picked up her sleeping child from the cradle and hugged him, showering him with kisses.
Namita sincerely apologized to her in-laws. She was like a daughter to them. They didn't want to leave her. They didn't want her to spend her entire life alone. Marriage was the only option left. But if she got married, she would go to her in-laws' house. This was unacceptable to them.
However, they agreed to the marriage on the condition that the boy would live with them as a son-in-law.
This was only possible if Aniket agreed to marry again. He could barely tolerate living with his mother, and he had initially liked Namita. But everything had changed; in that situation, no one would marry him.
Nevertheless, I took a chance. I met Aniket. I told him everything clearly. He also knew our mother-in-law. It was because of her that her two daughters had gone astray.
He agreed to marry Namita.
And the two were married.
He took over the household business and affairs.
A year later, Namita gave birth to her second child.
And their lives began to run smoothly and peacefully.
Seeing his progress, his mother-in-law was astonished.
Aniket was a great example in himself.
First, he had accepted Suhani in adverse circumstances, and now, by accepting Namita as well, he had performed a great and virtuous deed.

My uncle – Aarti's paternal uncle – had his own export-import business. Before he died, he had instructed his son:
"Hire Sambhav Kumar in our office." And his son, Siddharth, had called me and fulfilled his father's wish.
He had no business talent as his father. Since he wasn't very much involved in the business, it was declining from time to time.
The office had a very good staff. I got along well with Sangita, Manisha, and Mohan.
Among them all, Sangita was at the top.
I had developed feelings for her.
She sat next to me. We were like students sitting on the same bench. She had given me basic computer training at an older age.
I had translated her name into English:
" Musica!!
She appreciated this name very much.
She had also developed feelings for me.
She respected me a lot.
Once, I stroked her cheek. She didn't like it. She got angry, and I apologized to her.
Then what happened? I don't remember. Musica said something to me that hurt me very much. I went to the kitchen and started crying.
At that time, the office peon saw me and reported to Musica. She immediately ran into the kitchen.
She apologized to me. She took a pill from my shirt pocket and gave it to me. I was very happy with her kindness. At that moment, for the first time, she addressed me as her daddy with due respect.
"I am very sorry, Papa!"
We used to sit next to each other while working. We would sit together to eat our meals as well.
We would share each other's food.
I would bring some food for her every day.
Her father had been a victim of the Hindu-Muslim communal riots. She lived with her uncle and aunt.
After some time, siddhartha his office new address. Aarti and Musica met for the first time at the inauguration ceremony. At that time, he bowed down and touched Aarti's feet.
I would call Muzika on my days off.
One day, I called her. Even though she had guests at her house, she spoke to me very generously
I was very happy about that.
The next day, as soon as she came to the office, she gave me some good news.
