A friend and my PG college mate had once come to my house in Bangalore, now called Bengaluru, with his wife and their only son many years ago.
He told us that his wife had leucoderma, (which was visible and apparent), and he was feeling that we might not like their company; but we had said that we did not have any situation if they stayed with us.
He confided to me that, perhaps, she had it before the marriage, and that was not revealed to him. He, however had got married to her, because he had promised to do so.
Some years back he called me from Australia, and talked to me, and informed me that he lives there in Sydney with his son, and had moved there for teaching in a college. When I asked about his wife, whereupon he said that she was no more; then I asked about remarriage, but he said he loved his wife so much that he did not feel like marrying again.
