वेद वाणी 6-60-11
य इद्ध आविवासति सुम्नमिन्द्रस्य मर्त्यः।
द्युम्नाय सुतरा अपः॥ऋग्वेद ६-६०-११॥
जब प्रज्वलित अग्नि मे वैदिक मंत्रो से इन्द्रदेव के लिए आनंद प्रदान करने वाली आहुतियां अर्पित करते है तो वर्षा होती है जिसके कारण अन्न की वृद्धि होतीहै। आहुति देने वालो की तेजस्विता बढ़ती है।
When offerings are offered to Lord Indra through Vedic mantras in the ignited fire, it rains, due to which there is growth of food. The brilliance of those who offer sacrifices increases.
