great musician , Tabla player from Benaras Gharana ,Laxmi Narayan Singh better known as LACHCHU MAHARAJ . He is maternal uncle of actor Govinda. Lachchu Maharaj was choreographer in famous classical films like Mahal , Mughal e Azam Pakeezah. He won several national and international awards but refused to accept Padma Shri , he was of the view that public appreciation was a better award.
