I See You... (Stories in 100 words)
Starting afresh at 26, Meghna entered the MA English Literature classroom, hoping to quiet her chaotic mind. Standing at the door, scanning the classroom, she chose a desk. However, it was not the front row that made her sit there, but the girl on it. Many times, our mind’s eye sees things our naked eyes can’t. She realized this few months later, that afternoon in the canteen.
Ruchi said, “You look much better now.” Meghna smiled surprisingly. Ruchi continued, “Your eyes, they seemed sad and hopeless before. But now, they seem to sparkle.” Meghna replied somberly, “So does yours!”
