हर साल ही पुतला जलता है,
मगर रावण कहाँ मरता है।
जिस दिन 'राम' के हाथों तीर चलेगा,
बस उस दिन ही 'रावण' मरेगा।।

चारों और हैं कपटी झूठे,
मुझे दिखता कोई संत नहीं।
विजयादशमी बस त्यौहार हो गया,
बुराई का कोई अंत नहीं।।
