Every Saturday kabadi bazaar is opened in the Janta bazaar behind Govind deoji temple. Hatwada as it is commonly known is one of the oldest weekly markets of Jaipur. Previously Hatwada bazaar was in Gangori bazaar but later on shifted to Janta bazaar. Every city has weekly markets and these markets are known for cheap and second hand things. Games, Toys, cloths, leather, electrical items, electronic items, computer spares, old T.V., Radio, C.D., Cassettes are available in Hatwada market at very low cost almost all the goods are second hand and low in quality but can be used by the purchasers.
Old books, Old magazines, Old paintings, Old furniture are also available in this marked at a very low cost. Old gets, Old watches, Old thesis, old cricket kits, Old exercising machines are also available.
On every Saturday a large number of man & woman come here for shopping at a much cheaper rates, the market is full of crowed in the evening. Hatwada is an old fashioned market and is on the footpath only, no shops, and no shelter and even without light. The Kabadi bazaar of Mumbai is famous similarly old books market of daryaganj of Delhi is also very famous.
One of the shopkeepers told that old books are easily available here and rare books can be collected; similarly old and rare paintings also come to the market for sale. The Hatwada market has no facility for toilet and drinking water.
