Flowers are for ever
Flowers are for every time, they are for love, they are for birthday, they are for greetings, they are for homage, they are for marriages, they are for worshiping the gods, they are for decoration of religious yatras.
The biggest market of flower is in janta bazaar near Govind dev ji temple. Early in the morning farmers bring flowers to this mandi and from here local flower sellers purchase and take them to various parts of the city.
Rose, jasmine, marigold, sunflower, tulip, lily, mogra, chameli, are, flower available in this market and are sold throughout the year. The rates of the flowers depend on demand and supply ratio. During marriage season rates are high. Roses are most costly and on valentine day they are sold at a very high cost. Seasonal flowers are cheaper.
One person came to mandi for purchase of desi gulab told that this year the rates are higher. Botanically flowers are the reproductive organs of the plants and to attract the insects.
Flowers are used for extraction of oils, sent, and perfumes. Spring and summer is good for flowers similarly October and November are also good season for flowers.
