A BROKEN SPINE
There was so much happiness, though the income was less
The house was a home; sometimes clean sometimes in a mess
Those were the days when the middle class didn't pay so much cess.
And of course, with gadgets n luxuries we were not so obsessed.
Income tax, and GST have broken his back; he is harassed
Education good has almost bent his spine; he is over stressed
Good medical services, premiums are beyond his reach;
Choose he has to between bankruptcy n cure; he may scream n screech !!
The man wishes for Pearls; but all he gets is just sand at a beach.
