PROTECT OUR SELF-RESPECT
The elderly, certainly a decent amount of money need;
to themselves, properly medicate, clothe n feed.
By all means, a right they have, to a comfortable life lead.
They shouldn't be paying income tax again indeed.
The GOI to this important matter should heed n concede.
They should, these old laws urgently demolish and weed.
Already slogged n paid their tax, the elderly have indeed;
Why then should they be burdened; to change, I request plead.
With self-respect, don't they have a right, to a good life lead ?
