Once, I was confronted with a situation that after I had made my one hour technical presentation in an evaluation and review committee, I was told that the next day I would be required to present some more material for one hour; and I was shocked because there was no planning for this, I had no extra material with me, and before coming to the meeting no hint was given to this effect!
And any refusal might have earned negative remarks on my performance.
So, I had said yes.

In the evening at the guest house, I sat at the bank of the ocean and kept thinking and pondering all the time looking at its shear vastness and bouncing waves at the shore.

This closeness to the nature stimulated my mind, and I was able to recall many dormant ideas which I had then put together and presented, and this had saved me from the embarassment.

And from then on, the success has come to all the works in the related areas, over a span of two decades; now in my own absence.
