START WINDING UP
Time to return home, said the little voice within, start winding up.
Oh thought I, why am I so late ! stop I must the overflowing cup
So there we go ! said I, to myself, "let's seriously start winding up".
But easy it wasn't; I loved all the things that came popping up!
Which ones do I get rid of? Oh ! felt I now, like a silly puzzled pup.
This is from my college days, n this one, on a trip, I had picked up.
Ah ! and this one, my wonderful, honeymoon memories brings up
Decided I to hang on for a while; I just now can't anything easily give up
It suddenly felt silly, that all life, collected I articles cute, only to wind up !
Then I requested my little voice, let me happy be, I need to cheer up !
Why worry now; when I die, all this I will automatically n most willingly give up
So now, for the moment, postponed I have, to things wind up;
Live I will, a life full of memories fond n good; enjoy it all; n not wind up.
Ready I am for departure any minute, need there is not, at this moment, to wind up.
