અહીં શાંતિ છે તો રહી જઈએ, ચાલો,
કબર છે તો ફૂલો ધરી જઈએ,ચાલો.

મૃદુ મ્હેંક ભીના ભીરુ સ્વપ્ન-શિલ્પો,
ભીની રેતમાં આળખી જઈએ,ચાલો.

આ દરિયો ય મસ્તક પછાડી રહ્યો છે,
સ્મરણ થોડાં અહીં ઝાટકી જઈએ, ચાલો.

ચલો, પંડિતો ! ડૂબકીદાવ રમીએ,
કૂવાની ભીતર ઉતરી જઈએ,ચાલો.

રદીફ-કાફિયાના ખભે ઊંચકી ને,
ગઝલની લઈ પાલખી જઈએ,ચાલો.
