Today started off pretty normally — I got up, got ready for school, and headed out into the usual chaos of Delhi mornings. Somehow, even when I’m rushing, I like the little quiet moments before the day really begins, when the streets are just waking up and the sun is creeping over the rooftops.
School was… well, school. Busy, noisy, full of assignments and the usual chatter. But somehow, it never feels boring because there’s always something happening — someone telling a joke, a random funny incident, or just those little moments that make you smile without even realizing it.
After school, it was time for dance practice. I love dance — it’s exhausting, yes, but also so freeing. There’s something about moving to the music, letting go of all your thoughts for a while, and just being in the rhythm. Plus, practicing with everyone else around is always fun, even if we mess up a step or two and end up laughing at ourselves.
When practice was done, I came home for a little bit, just to drop my bag, grab a snack, and catch a breather. But then I couldn’t resist — I went over to my friend’s house. We just chatted, laughed, and shared stories about our day. It wasn’t anything big, but those little conversations always leave me feeling lighter, like you’ve shared a tiny piece of your life with someone who really gets it.
Finally, I came back home, had dinner with the family, and settled down for the evening. Nothing too dramatic, but there’s something comforting about the routine — the little moments that make the day feel complete. And then, as always, I got ready for bed, thinking about all the small, simple joys of the day before drifting off to sleep, ready to do it all again tomorrow.
