What a contrast between our so called fast growing, and developing modern India!
If we assume 50 crores of people are below poverty line, then they totally need ₹ 6e12; @ ₹ 1000 per month for one year.
The shown budget expenditure is tremendously much much more than that. How will it reach to meet the daily needs of poor families, it is not clear?
My feeling is that we still, as yet are not a fully humanitarian state.
To happen that it would perhaps need at least one century, or even two.
