ક્યાં છે કૂંચી? ક્યાં છે તાળા?
અંદર ભાળ્યા કેવળ જાળા !

સઘળા આભાસી અજવાળા !
કલંક કરતા પણ છે કાળા !

માણસ કરતો કેવા ચાળા,
સતની ખોલી બેઠો શાળા !

મીર અને ગાલિબ તું વાંચે,
