The next week, something strange began happening at college.

When Avya heard it all for the first time,
she stayed silent.
But inside, she trembled again.
Arjun gently held her trembling hands again —
> “These are just storms, Avya. Just keep looking at me… I’ll face them all.”

Neel’s Dirty Move — Fake Chat Leak
One day, a printed page was found stuck on the college notice board —
a screenshot of a WhatsApp chat between Avya and Neel.
It read:
> “Neel, I never loved you… but if you tell everyone the truth, I’ll be ruined. Please don’t say anything…”
The chat was completely fake. Edited.
But for onlookers, screenshots are always the truth.
The college went into an uproar.
Girls started judging Avya.
Boys mocked Arjun.
Even whispers reached the teachers.

Avya Went Silent Again…
Avya didn’t come to college for three days.
Didn’t answer calls. No replies.
Arjun grew restless.
He even went to her house.
No one opened the door.
Then on the fourth day, Avya returned to college…
but it was as if someone had stolen the light from her face.

“What’s Left Now, Arjun?”
Sitting on the bench behind the library, Avya said —
> “When I didn’t speak, people called me weak.
And now that I’ve started speaking… they call me a liar.”
> “What should I do now, Arjun? Go silent again?”
Arjun gently cupped her face in his hands.
> “No. This time, you won’t stay silent.
It’s time people hear your truth — in your own voice.”

Arjun sent the fake chat screenshot to a cyber expert.
Within two days, the report was back —
the chat was clearly FAKE. Editing was obvious.
An open session was then arranged at the college —
where students could voice their thoughts.
That day, for the first time, Avya stepped forward and picked up the mic.

“I won’t stay silent anymore…”
> “I’m the girl who stopped speaking because I believed my voice didn’t matter.
But when someone turns my silence into a weapon…
then it becomes necessary to speak.”
> “What Neel did wasn’t just against one person,
it was an attack on every girl’s voice.”
> “I’m not afraid anymore. Because I’m not alone —
Arjun is with me, and so is my voice.”
The entire auditorium fell silent.
Then — applause.
So loud that even the walls shook.
And Neel… quietly left the college.

> “Now that you’ve started speaking…
Should I go silent?”
Avya looked at him, surprised.
> Arjun smiled and said —
“Because now my heart says…
I don’t just want to be your friend anymore.”
