“Alright then. What’s more now you want to discuss with me?”
“I went to the orphanage where she has grown up and try to know about more of her and I came to know certain surprising things.” Prameela said.
“You indeed did a wonderful thing!” Rose said with a curious expression in her face. “Just let me know what they are?”
Then in a measured tone Prameela explained to Rose everything which she learnt at the orphanage from that Madhumathi regarding Evalla.
“Surprising! She came into that orphanage at the twelfth year of her or so?” once Prameela finished her saying Rose asked her with gathered frowns.
“That too all by herself. No one was with her on that day. The proprietor of the orphanage at that time, the uncle of the present proprietrix, found her and took her into that. She has been named Evalla by the previous proprietor. He tried many times to know about wherefrom she has come, who were her parents, etc but she did not answer any of his questions. In fact she could not. It was just like all her memory was wiped off till that date.” Prameela paused a little. “This all I came to know through the present proprietrix of that orphanage.”
“Still she could manage to come to that orphanage but how? Did she come all by herself or someone has dropped her there to be picked up by orphanage people later?”
“I cannot answer this question” with a helpless expression Prameela said.
“I think someone has dropped her there. Moreover something might have been done to her to make her forget about her past till that date.” Rose leaned back in the chair.
“You are right doctor. If you think something like that could take place with her, it would have been.” Nodding her head Prameela said. “Anyhow I came to know something disturbing also regarding her.” Then Prameela explained to her regarding that Okatho being exposed for a long time and in the orphanage also and the people used to feel fear to her.
“I have expected this. There is no surprise that those people felt fear like that towards her.” Rose sighed heavily.
“But doctor what is our next step, what should we do now?” with gathered frowns Prameela asked her. “Is it is not better that we do start something to cure her from psychological disorder as soon as possible?”
“First you have to understand the implications in treating this split personality disorder in a hasty manner. We have to be utmost careful not to take that Okatho onto the forefront and becomes permanent in her. You just follow the instructions I have given to you earlier. Try to get more information from Evalla about her and about that Okatho from that Okatho whenever it exposed in her. “
“I don’t think that Evalla can give any more information than she already gave. Whenever she tries to remember the past she is feeling quite uncomfortable and I don’t want her to become so. Next thing, whenever that Okatho exposes in her it is violent and not in a mood to answer my questions.” With a helpless expression Prameela said.
“Then don’t try to extract any information either from Evalla or that Okatho. Whenever that Okatho exposes in her just observe her without feeling fear.”
“I thought that we can do something with her split personality disorder once I have learnt this much about her.” Sighing heavily Prameela said.
“Here you need to understand one very important thing!” Rose stooped forward in the chair and balanced her arms on the table. “You yourself said that Evalla’s split personality problem is not a recent one and she has been suffering from it for a long time. That means it is surely very much dominant in her and a little triggering is enough to make it permanent in her body. The other thing....” Rose paused a second before saying “............even she has been suffering from that disorder for such a long time, there has been no potential danger to her. Why should not we allow it like that?”
“I just cannot understand you doctor!” with a distressing expression in her face Prameela said. “Are you suggesting that no treatment is necessary for her split personality disorder?”
“You may understand it in this way also Miss Prameela.” Rose once again leaned back in the chair and adjusted herself for more comfort. “Sometimes the subjects who have been suffering from the split personality disorders are made to understand the other character in them and bear it in them for the rest of their lives. If there is no potential danger to the subject from the other character this is also a way to deal with it.”
“I just don’t know what to say to this doctor.” Prameela also leaned back in the chair and closed her eyes.
“You need to understand one thing here. I am the well wisher of my patients and I do always think about their good and gives the treatment that would do good to them. It is not difficult to me to start hypnotherapy to your mom but that is the implication with it. That Okatho may become permanent in her.”
“I understood doctor.” Prameela opened her eyes and smiled looking into the face of Rose.
“You and your dad just do for some more days in the way I suggested. If there is any different development in her let me know about it. Anyhow I also talk with Evalla and decide what is the best thing to do.” Rose said.
“As you say doctor” after saying that Prameela said bye to Rose and came out of her chamber.

“I did not think that you do come to me like this!” looking into the face of Malathi happily Robert said. “For one week or so you stopped coming to me and you just don’t know how much I have been suffering.”
“I have been taking treatment to be cured from this.” Taking her clothes one after one from her body Malathi said. “I also want to get rid of this bad habit. It is very wrong to do it like this, is it is not?” she said it so even while she was removing the last garment from her body.
“There are people who are doing grave mistakes and living happily in the world. I cannot see that much wrong in having some pleasure like this.” Robert also started undressing himself and just in seconds he has become completely naked. “What’s wrong in what he has said? If it is correct that your fucking me in this way there is no wrong in his doing so to me. Just let him do it and I shall see how good he can do that.”

Just like the pleasure in before, the guilty feeling then which overwhelmed her the moment she finished with the nephew of Robert was also quite unbearable to her. How she could do such a monstrous thing she did not understand! Having sex with that Robert itself was a big mistake which was continuously torturing her psyche. Now she has sex with his nephew also. It appeared nothing could cure her and committing suicide is the only solution to this problem. First with that Robert, next with his nephew and who knew who would be the next? She could not live a life doing grave mistakes like these.
