A romantic, psychological thriller

“Don’t worry too much darling. It might not have happened as you are fearing” with a small voice Rajesh said in her ear.
“It happened Rajesh. Hundred percent it happened. That idiot spoiled our daughter. She foolishly has given herself to him” She paused a moment and said. “There is nothing we can do now. She fell into his trap.”
“There is no necessity to him to trap our daughter. Still I prefer to know whether it happed as you are fearing so much or not” Closing his eyes Rajesh thoughtfully said.
“Alright Rajesh. However much convinced I am, I too need confirmation. Ask your daughter. Ask your daughter whether it has happened or not.” Tanuja said angrily. It had become quite clear to Rajesh that she was trying her best to control her anger.
In that anger Tanuja did not know that she was shouting at the pitch of her voice and it was heard so clear to the other people in the varanda. Rajesh felt so uncomfortable as she was talking with a loud voice like that but did not know what to do. Anand too heard it and he understood that the culprits were Aravind and Sameera. He easily could guess what happened. He first saw Sameera and Aravind going into old woman’s room and after sometime Aravind went again upstairs.

Anand thought it would be better to go upstairs and talk to Aravind. He went into the middle room upstairs and by that time Aravind was seated in a chair closed his eyes, leaned back and thinking something deeply.
“May I know the reason for your sitting like this and thinking so deep?” dragging a chair near to Aravind and after settling himself into that Anand asked.
“A very bad thing happened Anand. A very big mistake that never can be corrected. A very big wrong for which there is no excuse. A heavy damage caused which I never can compensate.” Opening his eyes and looking into the face of Anand, Aravind said with a wry smile on his lips.
“Don’t decide the intensity of it before telling me what it is. Now tell straight and fast what exactly happened.” Anand asked him even he could guess what that was. He wanted to hear it straight from Aravind.
Then Aravind explained to him what happened. After hearing it completely Anand burst into laughter. “For this simple thing you are worrying this much? You both are going to be married and then what is the wrong in it at all?” After controlling himself Anand said.
“But her father and mother may not agree to our marriage at all” Aravind said with a fear filled voice.
“After they know what you both people did in this room, they certainly agree. Whoever in their place would have to agree. Why not they are? You are a handsome person. Highly educated. You may not be too much rich but that need not be counted at all” Anand said. After a little pause he said again. “It seems Rajesh and Tanuja already guessed what happened in between you both in this room.”
“Yes, that appears so to me too” Anand said with a small voice. Then he said again “You have said quite easily. But I am not thinking myself so. In fact I have got my own minus points. Because of my interest in black world Rajesh and Tanuja already got anger with me. Now this bad episode. They cannot tolerate this at all. I know that both of them have lot of love and affection towards Sameera. They never tolerate anything bad happen to her.” Aravind said.
“However much parents may like their children, they cannot control them in each and every way. After certain age the children would have their own likes and priorities. She needs to satisfy her bodily urges. She has seen a perfect mate in you and got herself cooled with you in this room” he paused few seconds and then said, “Now my suggestion. Don’t overdo anything. Once again I reiterate that there is no mistake of you in this. If you have been asked by Rajesh and Tanuja agree it happened. We shall see what happens then” Anand said.
“What else happens? They will get me out from their house once we reached it if they come to know about the truth. I am really feeling terrific” Aravind said reclining himself in the chair and closing his eyes. Depress was quite clear in his face.
“Don’t jump to conclusions. That is not a good habit at all.” Anand said.
Then Aravind stooped forward in the chair and looking into the eyes of Anand said “You are really a courageous guy. I really wonder what you would do if you are in my position.”
Anand tried to say something but then Sunanda entered into that room. “What you are doing here leaving me downstairs? Without you I am getting bore” looking at Anand she said.
“Nothing but simple talking. What else anyone can do while his wife tailing him like this?” a small smile flashed on the lips of Anand.
“I have not tailed on you. I just want to know what you are doing” after herself placed in the other empty chair Sunanda said.
“It is quite nice in fact. We three can have even more good time pass then” Anand said.
“What you both are talking just by the time I came here?” looking at them both she asked.
Anand looked at Aravind as if to know whether it was agreeable to him to tell the truth to her. But Sunanda was straight looking at them both so Aravind could not give a negative signal. But he felt very much strongly that Anand should not tell what they were talking.
“Just a friendly talk. Nothing more than that” as if noticed what Aravind was thinking Anand said.
“It is not like that. I can say that for sure. I am one of you. Tell me what happened?” she asked again.
“Sunanda… I am telling you just we both have a friendly chat in between ourselves by the time you came here and before that as well. Please believe me” Anand pleaded with her.
“Alright then. I am not going to press anymore.” She stood up from the chair. “I observed aunt Tanuja. I cannot understand why but she appears very serious to me. And the expression on the face of Sameera as well appeared quite different. I never have found her in such a way.” She went near to the bed.
“You are right. I too found her so.” Anand said looking askantly at Aravind.
“Either of you can guess any reason for that?” with a questioning look in her face she asked.
“Leave me out of this. I cannot make a guess” Anand said.
“Me too.” Aravind said.
“But I can guess to some extent” Sunanda said closing her eyes “She did not like much that Aravind and Sameera spent their time all by themselves here when it rained that horribly. How long that heavy rain gone like that Anand?” opening her eyes and looking at Anand she asked.
“Nearly half an hour or so” Anand said.
“Two young people may be provoked by the bodily instincts to do something wrong in solitude. In my opinion she is fearing something bad happened between Aravind and Sameera at that time. That is why she is serious.”
“But nothing wrong happened between us” Aravind said angrily. His face blushed.
“Might be. But I would not at all feel surprise if something has happened between you both in that solitude since Sameera liking you and it is impossible to any guy not to like Sameera.” Sunanda said.
“But I reiterate…” Aravind tried to say again.
“Aravind you are like a hero to me. Don’t try to lie. If something happened between you two it is not at all wrong. Sameera is in love with you and if she all by herself offered to you why should you deny? Be brave. I can say that you have got it with her in this room while it rained dogs and cats.” Looking at Aravind straight, Sunanda said.
Aravind did not say anything. But he hung his head. “Very first time I did a mistake. Really I am feeling very much for that.” It had become very difficult to him to tell the truth after lying like that.
“You have not done any mistake then. You are doing the mistake now by thinking you did a mistake.” With a firm voice Sunanda said. “It is no mistake two young people satisfy themselves sexually with each other if they like each other. They do not need any other person’s permission for that”
“Are you really feeling like that? Even two different married people as well if they liked each other can do it?” looking at his wife Anand asked.
She remained silent for a moment or so. But when she started speaking her voice was as firm as it was before. “I am not a person to make rules. But sometimes it may be inevitable to satisfy the urges. Sometimes the urge compels even the married people as well to satisfy it with other than their spouses.”
“Is it is agreeable morally?” Aravind asked her. For the first time he was hearing such an argument.
“Who made the morals? For what purpose those morals are? How many people are following those morals?” she paused and looked into their eyes. “We have made ourselves those moral rules for our convenience. It is wrong to satisfy your sexual urge with someone else while you are married and your wife is with you as per these morals. But so many men are marrying after their wives death and satisfying their urges with those other women. And some women as well doing so after their husbands’ death. Is there no wrong in it then? If it is wrong before it must be a wrong after too. Just the death of the spouse gives right to remarry and have sex with other man or woman? Don’t we know so many men and women satisfying their sexual urges with people other than their spouses even while the spouses are alive?” She paused a second. After taking a deep breath she continued. “We are breaking rules in everything. We are doing so many bad things some of them cause great loss and pain to other people. Satisfying sexual urge before marriage or with someone other than spouse after marriage may be morally wrong. But most of the time it would not cause any loss, damage or pain to anyone. If the other spouse thought that he or she is cheated it is only a sentiment and illusion. I am not supporting or encouraging it. But sex is a dangerous weakness in human beings. Sometimes he or she may be succumbed to it helplessly and have to satisfy it in wrongful ways.”
There was silence after her long speech. No one talked until she herself broke it. “Anand still you love me after knowing my opinion”.
“Until this moment I only loved you. After knowing your opinion I adore you” with blissful eyes Anand said. “Your saying so is giving me relief. Until this moment I hated my family and myself a lot. But now I have got some courage to excuse them and myself too. Yes, what you have said is right. Sex is a weakness of man and woman. They cannot win over it that easily.”
He paused for a moment and then said again. “Why should Aravind struggle himself so? He did that with her own volition and he is ready to marry her. He needs not that much worry about Sameera’s parents’ reactions.”
“I think that they certainly agree to the marriage” Sunanda said.
“I really doubt Tanuja aunt and Rajesh uncle would agree to our marriage” Aravind despairingly said.
“You too know that they both do like you also a lot.” Sunanda said. “You need not feel fear. They may be angry a little because this thing happened before marriage but they certainly agree to your marriage with Sameera. They understood and everything would be happy.”
