A romantic, psychological thriller

Kotra Siva Rama Krishna

Even in that disturbing condition as well Sunanda surprised and felt quite happy noticing the change in Anand. Malathi and Vinod as well looked at each other’s faces with smiles on their lips. A big problem appeared to be solved. But conclusions should not be taken in haste. They need to wait some more time to see whether the change in Anand was permanent and real or not

“No I will not go into that upstairs middle room again. I believe only because of my sleeping in that room I have got such a bad dream. From now on I shall stay only downstairs.” Sunanda said.

“You may take rest in the upstairs first room also. If you want we can….” Anand tried to say something more.

“No, I don’t want to go upstairs. I want to stay only in downstairs.” Sunanda’s voice was firm.

“We have no objection to that. But don’t try to stay all alone here. Keep someone company always.” Vinod said.

“From now on I shall be with her all the time” Anand said looking affectionately at his wife. Sunanda’s heart made a leap with joy.

“It is nearly one p.m. and no one came with our lunch yet. I am feeling so hungry” Sameera said.

“Just wait for some more time. If he does not come I shall go into the village and make arrangements for our lunch.” Rajesh said considering his daughter without any expression in his face. In fact he was as well feeling lot of hunger then.

“It seems that all of us are feeling quite hungry here. Why it is so?” Malathi asked.

“We have taken our breakfast in the morning at 8 I think. Is it is that much surprising that we feel hungry at 1.00 pm.” Considering his wife as every time he would consider Vinod said.

“Nothing surprising in it” Rajesh said but his mind was thinking what to do if Ratnam would not take lunch to them. As they were all thinking so, they heard tapping sound on the front doors. All of them easily could anticipate who it was then. Rajesh went near to the doors and unlatched them before opening them widely. Ratnam and his assistant entered into that house with two big baskets.

“We are just thinking about you and you have come” Rajesh said, “Thank you very much that you have kept your word”

“I have said before and I am saying again. Please don’t say like that at all. Considering the help grandma did to us, what I am doing to you people is nothing.” Opening the bundles in the baskets and taking out the packets from them Ratnam said. This time he made the food into packets outside itself. He distributed those packets to each of them. Two packets were remained after distributing all the packets to the people there.

“These are all very big packets. I am not thinking that we can manage eating this much of food.” Carefully opening his food Vinod said.

For lunch Ratnam preferred to bring non-veg. In each packet there was chicken and fish. They all eagerly and interestingly started eating their foods.

            “I am a vegetarian. I don’t eat this non-vegetarian food” Rajesh said.

“Nothing would happen if you eat it for one time. Otherwise you would be famished.” Making the chicken into small pieces with her beautiful teeth and managing it into her mouth, munching it peacefully Tanuja said. “Moreover this chicken appears very good to me.”

“Fish as well. It seems that Ratnam has taken special care for preparing the food to all of us.” Malathi said.

“It is not at all so. Nothing special I have made up for you people. What I have brought for you is quite ordinary.” Ratnam said observing Malathi while she was eating fish pieces carefully. Even Malathi was aged fifty three years Ratnam was thinking that she had just forty years or so of age. Only a little of her hair had turned grey. Her big and robust breasts were thrusting upward and it seemed her advanced age and giving birth to a baby twenty or so years back itself had made no impact whatsoever on her beauty and youth. Through the conversation he came to know that Sunanda was her daughter. She was not milky white just like her daughter but the skin of her was glassy and her face as well was attractive and without pimples. She had got a graceful neck which supporting her head and there was a gold chain in her neck.  Ratnam was indeed feeling difficulty to turn away his gaze from her. He could not understand but this time he was more inclined to see the elder woman than her daughter.

Vinod observed Ratnam looking at his wife so and he smiled in himself. There was no surprise that men lured towards his wife so as she was beautiful and attractive. Vinod knew she was as much excellant on the bed as she was in the appearance. Vinod never disappointed himself with her on the bed. She was a giving and taking type. She would not remain passive on the bed while playing the sexual act with her husband.

“I have asked you to take your father here. Why did not you have taken him with you? I would have diagnosed him and tell you what is the problem with him.” Vinod said.

“I have asked him to come here. He did not agree at all.” Ratnam paused for a moment before continuing. “It seems that he is not at all liking that your people coming here. He is saying that grandma not at all like your people staying in this house.”

“Why he is saying like that?” shocked a little on hearing that Rajesh asked.

“I told you he has become mad. How a madman would talk? I have just said what he is saying. Don’t take it seriously at all”

“I want you both too take your lunch here. There are two packets still left.” Vinod said this time a little irritatingly as the assistant came with Ratnam observing Sunanda without even blinking his eyes. “Especially your assistant. He was appearing quite hungry to me.”

“Not at all” with difficulty averting his gaze from Sunanda, Ratnam’s assistant said. “We both have taken our lunch before coming here. We cannot manage anything into our stomachs until night”

“What he has said is right. Don’t think about us. Just enjoy the lunch we have taken for your people. How is it?” this time turning his gaze towards Sameera as Malathi went back side, Ratnam asked. No one could blame for his act of furtive looking. Sameera’s skirt was a little up to her knee caps. And the tight tee shirt she wore then offering more than beautiful cleavage and robust breasts. Rajesh noticed Ratnam’s looking like that towards Sameera and he looked at her. His whole body swept with irritation and he gritted his teeth with anger. When this stupid girl learn some dress sense? he thought wryly. He suspected she was wearing such type of dresses only to irritate him. Immediately he averted his gaze to something else. Beside him just like in the morning his assistant also observing the girls and women there with his greedy looks.

“Just perfect! It cannot be better. It seems you people are experts in preparing non-veg items.” Vinod said while eating the chicken in his packet.

“We are feeling very happy as you are enjoying the food we have brought for you” Ratnam said. “What you people want to have for dinner?”

“Not this type of heavy food” Malathi said. “Something light. This much of quantity as well is not necessary” all those were indeed enjoying the food then forgetting about the fears, irritations and other feelings momentarily.

“When you are going to take your father here? Here is a good psychologist to cure your father. I want to do something to you people” Rajesh said. Rajesh also was compromised and started eating the food in his packet while Tanuja was looking at him with a sneer. As if to escape from her looks Rajesh started looking at Vinod.

“He is not agreeing to come here what can I do? You can understand mad people behavior. They very seldom hear what we people say to them.” he breathed in heavily and exhaled before continuing “I shall try again to take him here in the evening”

“How it would be if we ourselves go to his home rather than compelling him to come here?” Rajesh said.

“That is indeed a good idea. If he does not agree to come here in the evening I shall go there in the night” Vinod said. “If he does not become completely mad, I myself can cure him.”

“I really feel a lot happy if you people come to my home.” Ratnam said. He was making an effort to show happiness in his face for their decision to come to his home.

It took nearly an hour to all of them to finish their lunch.

“If you people don’t think otherwise we have to go now. We need to attend some urgent works outside.” Assistant of Ratnam said.

“As you wish then” Vinod said. He felt relieved as Ratnam’s assistant was going out finishing his observing Sunanda so. Rajesh as well had felt in the same way. The ironical thing was the two girls themselves were quite oblivious that their exposing youth was attracting those two men very much. Ratnam and his assistant vacated the chairs they sat and went out

“Oh, my god how ravenously they have observed the girls here.” Malathi said. “They have eaten them with their eyes.”

“That Ratnam looked at you also in the same way until you moved into the back chair of Sunanda.” Vinod said.

“I found him looking at me so, felt embarassed and moved like that” Malathi said.

“Making your daughter a prey to his hungry looks.” Vinod said again.

“I did not think so then but you are true.” With a regretful expression in her face, Malathi said.

Sunanda heard her mother so and a small smile came onto her lips. Both the girls noticed how hungrily that Ratnam and his assistant devoured them with their looks but they did not take it seriously. In fact they felt pround that their glamour attracted them that much.

Rajesh in fact want to say something about his daughter’s dress but he knew very well that she would not take that in right spirit. Already she was quite angry with Rajesh and his wife. Saying anything not liked by her would create instant problems. Thinking so, with a lot of difficulty he managed not to say what he was strongly feeling.

“Why his father is saying so? Why he does not like our coming here?” Rajesh said with an irritation in his voice observing all the faces of the people there.

“Ratnam said that his father is a mad man. Do we need to take into consideration a mad man’s words?” Tanuja asked.

“It is not so” Rajesh nodded his head unsatisfyingly. “Why he had become mad in the first place?” he questioned himself.

“It is no surprise if someone becomes mad completely. There can be so many reasons for it. We cannot be known what might be the reason in his case until we diagnose him thoroughly” Vinod said.

“If Ratnam takes his father in the evening, you must try your level best to know the reason behind his madness” looking into the face of Vinod, Rajesh said.

“Certainly, I really like diagnose him and know the reason. Every mad person has his own reason to become mad. If it is not because of any damage in his mind, curing him is quite possible.  First of all we need to know that reason first. Then only we can think about a remedy” Vinod said. “But if he is completely mad and out of his control to answer my questions, I cannot help. Only a psychiatrist can do something.”
