Opinions

We don’t like people, especially strangers expressing opinions about things that are close to us. That is understandable. But can we really blame them for having an opinion? I mean just like our heartbeats, isn’t formation of an opinion an involuntary action?

When we see a thing or a person, don’t we automatically form an opinion about it in our minds? The opinion may be right or wrong? It may be based on incomplete information. It may be full of prejudices. But there will always be an opinion.

Think about it. You are travelling by a train. You see a parson, a total stranger, sitting across from you. Subconsciously, you form an opinion. It can be something as simple as ‘a fat person’ ‘a smart looking person’ ‘a shabbily dresses person’ or anything else but an opinion will be there.

It is OK for someone to have an opinion, just ask them not to express it. And if they do, just learn to ignore it.
