UNIVERSE
The universe is 13.5 to 15 billion years old, science tells us. The known universe is 93 billion light years across we are told. The universe consists of galaxies, stars, planets, asteroids, black holes, dark matter and many things that we don’t know and may never know. At any given time, we see only a tiny fraction of it. Even with our most advanced gadgets we cannot claim to know it completely. Every time we understand something new, we realize that there is much more that we do not know.
Whew. Will we ever understand the universe? Yes, we will.
You don’t need to look out there to know the universe. You need to look within. We are all the universe.
How?
When I am at peace with myself, when I resonate with the divine, when I am happy from deep down and bliss flows through me unhindered, I AM the universe.
When laughter flows without inhibitions, when I see a new soul and connect instantly, when I look into the eyes of an animal or a bird and I realize that deep down is a soul no different from mine, at that moment, I AM the universe.
When I stand admiring the sunset or the beauty of a starry sky, when I go into the woods and the nature talks to me, when I find calm and peace in the sound of a flowing river and I dance with the waves of the ocean, at that moment, I AM the universe.
When a single word sparks off poetry and a simple interaction becomes an inspiration for a story. When I discover with myself treasures untapped, at that moment, I AM the universe.
Before I took this mortal form, I was the universe. After I shed this mortal form, I will be the universe. Even with this mortal form, at every moment, I AM the universe.
