Mid-market update – European market open on a positive note … US Future gains … USDINR slips from record high… Brent Crude above $34 ahead of OPEC + meeting today
· European equities rose on Thursday as the travel sector and autos bounced back, with the regional benchmark set for its longest winning streak since early February. Oil stocks jumped after the world’s top producers looked to be moving closer to a deal to cut output. Meanwhile, Credit Suisse Group AG and UBS Group AG became the latest lenders to delay dividend payments amid the coronavirus outbreak. FTSE, CAC and DAX gained nearly 1% each.
