बहते आंसुओं को छिपा लेते हैं ,
कोई देख न ले मुस्कुरा देते हैं ,
शिकायत नहीं रही शिकायतों से ,
चराग खुद का खुद बुझा देते हैं ,

कई जन्मों से बंदी हैं ग़म के ,
चलो आज फिर रिहाई देते हैं ,
ज़माना को सुनना पसंद है तो ,
चलो आज फिर सफाई देते हैं ,

अभी हमसे न पूछो कहां थे ,
अफवाओं के किस्से सुनाई देते हैं ,
ये जो कुछ लोग अपना कहते हैं ,
पीठ पीछे औकात दिखा ही देते है,
