ઘશ્યાં ચંદન તમે કે

શબ્દો મહેકી ઊઠ્યાં,

ઉતર્યા જેવા કાગળે કે

કાગળો ઉછળી પડ્યાં,

દૂર દૂર ઉડીને પડ્યાં એ

મને મશહૂર કરવાં કાજે,

પાણીમાં પલાળીને,કાદવમાં

બગાડીને,આગમાં બળીને,

કાતરે કપાઈને,કચરામાં એ

ફેકાઈને પણ એક દિવસ એ

કાગળ પર ચંદન સમાં શબ્દો

લખનારને મશહૂર કરી જાય છે.
