LIL BRANDY

There was a cute lil puppy, as sweet as sugar candy;

Almost white she was, also a little bit sandy;

Hence, most lovingly, christened she was, "BRANDY"

Gorged, she, "The laughing cow" cheese, which mady Brandy a "pendy"

Oh! She was a puppy who used to cat-walk, an intoxicating dandy!

Brandy's cat-walk, a vogue became, honestly, it was really trendy.

🏠🏠🕰️🕰️🕰️🏚️🏚️

OLDIES WE ARE AT TIMES, & SOMETIMES NOT

It's often quoted, that, "age is just a number,"

but to fix our leaking pipe (urethra), we do need a plumber

And, take a pill we may have to, to invite that evading slumber

Medicines we need aplenty and water n food, often less

Anxious, dreadfully we are, but we say it's just a little stress;

For a sneeze or cough often lands us in a dirty mess

Old music we love, but forced to listen to cacophony, we are

And what was nearby, at a stone's throw, is now so very far

Hands, legs, eyes, ears, all weak, yet with the youth, we wish to be at par

True, cataracts need to be operated upon, & hearing aids become a necessity;

But the silver in our hair shouldn't ever increase our intolerance or audacity

Everywhere you go, do not please include yourself as a celebrity

As older we become, let's gracefully this fact accept, thinks "Anar"; that oldies we are at times & sometimes not.

इस दिवाली घर के आँगन के साथ साथ, अपने हृदय के भीतर भी एक दीप जलाना

घर के साथ, मन मस्तिष्क और हृदय में भी प्रेम भाव की ज्योति जलाना

जहाँ बैर भाव, जलन, दुख दर्द का अंधेरा है, वहां, आज सद् भावना का दीप जलाना

मासूम भावना, थोड़ी सी कोमलता जगाना और दिखाना; मन को असीम शांति मिलेगी

पटाखों को जलाने से पहले, एक पेड़, या छोटा-सा पौधा लगाने से, देखना कितनी खुशी मिलेगी

कोई बुजुर्ग या गरीब बच्चे के मुख् पर एक मुस्कान लाने से, सुकून और प्रफुल्लता मिलेगी

MY NEST, MY HOME

Hon. Mam,

Every corner of my soul, heart, and home , to you, is trying to speak

Justice to save my own little nest from wealthy n powerful land-sharks I seek

It is an appeal humble, to the mighty and powerful, from a person meek

This building is my home, every corner alive is, from every corner my departed ones speak

My hubby's Mama, (mother) who, for me, was an angel divine, her vibrations here speak

Produce they loving holy vibrations, like in a temple, from a deity one would seek

Every penny possible was used to this home buy, loans, FD, my gold we sold; that's why I cry n squeak

Let not the powerful snatch away my precious temple. Let not corrupt power win against the weak.
