🪁🪁🪁🪁🪁 पतंग

नीली, पीली, लाल, सफेद, गुलाबी, केसरी, रंगबिरंगी होती हैं य़ह नाजुक सी पतंग

पर मचल कर छुना चाहती है बादल को, आसमान को; उसे देखने वाले भी रह जाते है दंग

इस नाजुक सी पतंग को, उसकी डोर को, रखनी होगी मजबूती से तंग;

और कभी कभी देनी पड़ती है, मांजे को ढील, तभी जीती जाती है यह बाजी, यह जंग

मेहनत करनी पड़ती है, ज़हमत उठानी पड़ती है, बैठे बिठाए काम नहीं होगा, छोड़ना पड़ता है पलंग

उड़ती है ऊंची हवा के साथ पतंग, पर डोर काटते ही गिर भी जाती है, " बच्चे, सावधान ", कहता है यह मलंग

THAT SANTA WITHIN US

Don't worry about his looks, no beard, required nor is the red coat or cap;

Santa has pockets huge, but we just need, in our hearts, a slit or a flap

Rudolph and reindeers other, may need a clasp or a strong strap;

But need we, just a burning desire to help another just a coins few to buy a pen or put a kid on our lap

To bring out that hidden Santa, just smile, laugh n clap.

Merry Christmas, and a happy New Year from this Santa, without a cap

TUBES

Here a tube , there a tube, everywhere a tube, tube ;

Locked up in a tiny room I am, as if in a cube

One for intake of oxygen, one for output of peritoneal drainage

Both in and out of my Parsi nose; what an outrage !

Yet another from the bladder, n intravenous on my hands both

Two at the feet, to circulation help; only these 2, I do not loathe.

Lord, You made our body so perfect, oozing with health ;

When ill, we humans try to it repair, spending enormous wealth.
