પ્રકરણ ૧: લાવ હથેળી શ્યામ લખી દઉં"તારી આંખ નો અફીણી, તારા બોલ નો બંધાણી, તારા રૂપ ની પૂનમ નો પાગલ એકલો, તારા..." મંચ પર થી સુંદર ગાયનનો કાર્યક્રમ પૂર્ણ થવાની તૈયારી માં હતો. વિશાળ જન સંખ્યા તાળીઓથી ગીતો ને વધાવી રહી હતી. પાછળ બે યુવતીઓ એક કાર્યક્રમમાંથી બીજા કાર્યક્રમમાં જવા માટે ભીડમાંથી પસાર થવા પ્રયત્ન કરતી હતી. હોલ આખો ભરેલો હતો, બેસવાની ખુરશીઓ ઓછી પડી ગઈ હતી, પણ ચાહકો ઊભા રહીને પણ સાંભળવા તૈયાર હતા.
