Rina is a 20 year old girl who lives with her family who has a toxic and traditional mind and they think being over protective and strict make their children good. Giving them what they want will make them happy.That was their great belief but rina always dream to escape from that family and she always wish to taste freedom and independence. To her this over- protectiveness and boundries makes her a dumb she don't even know how to buy something she want for herself and doing her own stuff .Her parents who always keep her in a shell and called it love . They always scold her for her little mistakes
They want their opinions to be her first priority other than hers. They want them to choose every important decision in her life. This makes her choose another distance from her parents
Because she thought herself as a woman not a new born girl. she wanted to experience everything on her own and study from her mistakes she thought it could make her stronger that was her mind but her parents didn't want her to face any problem they think this will make her safe but they don't know that this will make her afraid of facing problems in her future .
Due to this behaviour of her parents she chose to be silently with them she stoped sharing everything with them and keep everything with her itself. And she got another super power too and that is now she can lie on face with anyone without any second thought.
She trust herself other than anyone
She decided to stay with her decisions even when the world itself will stand against it
She decided there is no need to obey everyone and respect their opinions over hers
For her now she is her first priority other than anyone
She chose herself as her best friend and therapist
But her first battle is with her family .
Choosing strictness with your children doesn't make them a better person it will make them a good liar and manipulators and make childrens lose their connection with you and that distance they put can make two a strangers in future
It is not selfishness it's self-love
She loves her family
But not their decisions
Parents should be a safe home for their children who treats theirs children's like a best friend not a jail who treats their children's as a prisoner
Parents should provide and teach and let them experience the world their self
They are your children's not a property or land,
So love them don't let them feel like you own them
All are individuals when they grow up let them share their opinions and views if it makes sense just allow them to go with that and if it not just talk to them what you feel but don't argue or force them to take the decision that you said .let them learn from mistakes let them grow
Don't cut their feathers now and ask them to fly later it's nonsense
I think it can make a small change in toxic parenting and its after effects
