It was Nagaraju who saved her from the river and now with an expertise he made her vomit the water she drank.
“Now there is no problem to you. I have followed you both and saw you fallen into the river so. If I did not come after you stealthily you might have finished in the river on this day.”
“Who asked you to save me?” with a feeble voice she asked him. “I don’t like this life. Why did not you let me die in that river?” she wanted to move but she could not. She was exhausted completely. She drained off all her energy.
“I have saved you for myself. You know how much I love you. I give my life for you.” Nagaraju said.
She closed her eyes and she did not like what he had said. He was now eyeing her minutely. The sodden clothes accentuated her youth. Her big breasts were quite conspicuous under her sodden blouse and he could see the curves of her thighs under her petticoat.
She opened her eyes again when quite skillfully he maneuvered her sari out of her body. She was very weak but sensed what was happening to her. But there was no strength in her and she was quite unable to move her body.
“Don’t do anything nasty to me.” with a weeping tone she said.
“You are so beautiful Mamatha.”
The greediness in his eyes made her feel fear. “I said to you don’t do anything to me.” with an effort she raised her voice.
“I have saved your life. Otherwise, you would have been dead by now.”
She realized that she was quite helpless. She just allowed what was happening on her body while her heart was burning with uncontrollable rage on Madan rather than anything else. She just did not know how much of time was passed before Nagaraju satisfied himself completely with her but by that time she came to a determination.

“I am sorry. I just could not control myself.” Nagaraju said to Mamatha.
Using all the strength in her body she made herself sat. Her whole body was a paining moss. No one would come generally to that place on the river bank.
“I think now you can understand what my love is. You can understand this as well what type of person that Madan is. He has no love on you at all.”
“You are right.” She slowly hooked her blouse again. She was still feeling rage and remembered the decision she took. She gathered her strength and dressed herself.
“You would have been dead if I were not saved you.” Nagaraju said again.
She nodded her head. Then she said with a small voice.
“You need to do me a favour.”
“Tell me what it is. I shall do anything for you.” his enthusiasm was irritating to her.
She paused for a moment and then said. “I am feeling lot of angry on that Madan. I cannot blame him for his not accepting my love. But he left me cruelly to my death in the river so.”
“You are right.” Nagaraju said.
“For that, for his mistake, he must suffer. He must feel bad for his leaving me like that into the river so.” the anger in her gave a strange strength to her.
“What we need to do then?” Nagaraju asked her.
“Come near to me. I shall explain that to you.”

“I have decided to make you suffer. I have decided to make you feel bad. Feel bad for your behavior towards me. Feel bad for your not accepting my love. If not for a longer time, at least for few days.” After telling them what happened after she had fallen into the river Mamatha was saying this.
“In fact I have a different plan. I used to hid behind the mango tree and observe Madan. I know that it is Madan’s favourite place and very often he comes there. But suddenly Madan took Susmitha to the said mango tree. There I have heard their conversation. I came to know about Susmitha’s problems. After this new development I have replaced my old plan with a new one. The next day when Susmitha was left all alone under the mango tree……”
“Better I say from here onwards.” Susmitha intervened. “Mamatha came before me not from the top of the mango tree, but from behind the mango tree. She introduced herself to me. I was aghast! I did not know what else to say or do then.
Then she told me what had happened after she fell into the river. I felt lot of sympathy with her. But when she said to me about her idea to make you suffer, I did not like that at all.”
She paused for a moment and then said. “Then she blackmailed me saying that she would tell my whereabouts to my cousin. At the same time she threatened me that she would enter into your life again. I felt lot of fear. I did not know what to do. Then she assured me that it would be only for few days. She said everything can be stopped after our marriage. But before our marriage I have to do as she would ask me to do. If I do not listen to her she would tell my whereabouts to those who are quite willing to kill me and she would enter into your life again pestering you for love and marriage. I thought that it would be better to do in the way she asked rather than giving way to the other unwanted consequences. Anyhow it is only for a little period of time.”
She paused again. Madan was looking at her with lot of surprise. He did not expect this at all in this way.
“I never have seen Mamatha in the house and she never entered into my body. It was all Mamatha’s plan to make you suffer. She told me the childhood incidents and said to me what I should do to make you believe that she entered into my body. I ate chicken like that at the dining table with full consciousness only to make you believe that Mamatha was in my body. Every time only I acted that Mamatha was in my body to make you feel bad. I have explained everything to bavagaru(Pallav), Akka (Janathi), Sukanya and Vineet as well. After fully comprehending the risks if it has not been done as Mamatha wanted, they too agreed to cooperate with me.
I did like this not just feeling fear to Mamatha’s black mail. In my subconscious there was a feeling that a lot injustice done to Mamatha. If she could get some peace and happiness by subjecting you to distress only for some days, I thought that it was quite reasonable.”
After saying all that Susmitha remained silent for some time. She was feeling fear to look into the face of Madan but she looked. There was no expression on his face. It was quite plain.
“Madan. You are feeling angry on me, are not you?” looking fearfully into his eyes Susmitha asked.
“There is no wrong on your part at all. In fact there is a point in what you have said as well. I should not have left Mamatha to the mercy of the river so. I deserve even more punishment infact.”
Then he slowly turned towards Mamatha and took her hands into his. “Mamatha. I should not have asked you this. But please… please … forgive me.”
She took his hands to her mouth and kissed on them. “I am still in love with you Madan. But I cannot ask you to marry me now. There is another girl entered into your life. Poor Susmitha! She did everything in the way I have asked her to do. I must keep my promise. I never enter into your life again. Both of you lead a happy married life.”
Susmitha and Madan looked at each other’s faces and there were sudden smiles on them.

“How it would be if we both go to somewhere for honeymoon?” Madan asked Susmitha.
“Why only we both? Sukanya and Vineet as well are newly married couple. We take them too with us.” Susmitha said.
“It is indeed a good idea.” Madan said.
After coming out of the Mamatha’s house both of them were walking towards their home.
There was silence between them for sometime.
“In fact I liked this village, your mango tope and that guest house a lot. I cannot be more happy anywhere else than here. I don’t want to come away from here at all.” With firmness in her voice she said.
Madan laughed and said “ As you wish it then.”

Pallav was relaxing himself in his room as the marriages were over and everyone was happy. It was indeed more than one month back he went to Malathi and has it with her and once again his body was aching for that pleasure. Even Jayanthi also would provide that to him if he requested, she was quite conservative type and now a day she has no interest in it at all. Malathi was not only beautiful but would give herself in the way he wanted her. She just would not stop whatever he does to her. Indeed she did a very nice thing by talking encouragily like that on that day with him. If he had stopped it in the way he wanted then, he could not go to their home again for that. He was in the mood to phone to Vinod and ask him to make arrangements for it and then suddenly his cell phone rang. Surprisingly it was Vinod himself.
“Just now I am thinking to phone to you.” Pallav said happily. “I…..”
“I want to say something very important to you now.” Vinod cut him off and said.
“What it is?” frowns gathered on the forehead of Pallav. Did he want to say that he not liked it anymore and he should not come to their home again for it? But he did that much big help to those people and because of that Vinod has become a very rich businessman.
“My wife is pregnant.” Cutting his thoughts Vinod said. “You are going to become a father soon.”
Pallav did not whether to believe it or not. It was indeed a pleasant shock! “Can it….can it be true?” his voice was shivered with pleasure.
“Just wait until you see the baby. Whether it is male or female, I hope that it shall be hundred percent like you.” Vinod was laughing in the phone.
Epilogue
It was just as expected by all of them. Susmitha not only expelled his uncle, aunt and their son Manohar from her home and took full charge all over her properties but made Madhuri filed a complaint against Manohar and his two friends for the atrocity committed against her. She could not feel at peace until the three of them were sentenced vigorous life imprisonment.
Madhuri was consoled a lot by the soothing words of Susmitha, Sukanya and Madan. She agreed to be with Susmitha and look after her business while Susmitha was with Madan in the village.
Madan, Susmitha, Sukanya, Vineet, Madhuri along with other family members attended to the marriage of Mamatha and Nagaraju. It surprised all of them that the both of them were quite happy during the marriage and after the marriage also. Just after six months of the marriage Mamatha was four month’s pregnant.
Vineet and Sukanya felt so happy when Sukanya delivered a girl baby after the due period. Everyone commented that the girl baby was just like her mother and she would be as much beautiful as Sukanya. By that time Susmitha also was conceived and it was fourth month of her. Along with Madan she was so eagerly waiting to see whether it would be a girl or a boy. Whoever it may be, everyone said, it would be as much glamorous and handsome as Susmitha and Madan.
The black birth mark on his right buttock, flat nose and the earstubs and some other similarities just like his convinced Pallav that the daughter born to Malathi was hundred percent his. EvenVinod was quite wealthy by that time and has no problem to look after that girl, Pallav took a strong decision to see everything of that girl by himself. What he was furiously thinking at that time was how to keep that as secret forever from his family members especially from Jayanthi.
