“Yes, mom. What Ragini said is true.” Pramod said while still Sulochana was trying to say something more. “Our sister has gone too far to come back from that. However much painful, we have to endure that. But it is not at all better either you or dad sees it. Just forget about this whole thing.”
“If it is so we better don’t see it.” Vasantha Rao interfered and said while Sulochana was still trying to say something. “I just can understand how it is if our daughter and son are saying like that about it.”
Painful and dense silence ensued after he said like that and it was he who broke it again. “But I still want to say something.” He paused for a second as if to reiterate whatever he was going to say. “I am just proud of my daughter. She is doing this against her will and wish only for us. Only few daughters do bother this extent about their families.” After saying that leaving the others there he went away from that place.

The next day Sarath has got little fever as such the major scene has to be postponed. Sarath said that he could manage it but Tarang did not agree to it.
“It is indeed a very important scene in the movie and it can be shot later. There are other scenes which have to be shot before we move away from here and we shall finish with them before.”
Charitha got little recess, phoned to her mother with a happy mood. But at the first greeting itself, she found something sorrowful in her mother’s voice and after some more talking she asked her. “You are not your usual self mom. I can find some difference in your voice. What happened?”
“Nothing wrong. You are mistaken. I am my usual self.” Sulochana said but Charitha clearly could discern her mother’s attempt to cover her sorrow in it.
“Mom..........” Charitha’s voice suddenly became firm. “............I can know even there is a small change has come in my mom. So please don’t try to conceal anything from me and reveal the facts. Is dad’s health disturbed again or something else? If you don’t tell me I feel too much anxiety.”
“Its not so dear. We are all so much happy and healthy here. Don’t feel fear so.” Sulochana said hastily.
“Then tell me mom? What exactly is the matter?” the anxiousness started in Charitha slowly increased.
“Yesterday your brother and sister saw something in their whatsapp. They said it as something and I don’t remember the name. I also wanted to see that but they did not let me see it at all.” Sulochana paused for a second. “But they said it is you in that and it is not good.”
“I just cannot understand! What they have seen like that in that whatsapp?” along with anxiousness, Charitha started feeling surprise also.
“I cannot say anything about that. They just did not let me see it at all.” Sulochana sighed heavily.
“Then give the phone to either of them. I shall talk with them direct.”
There was few seconds pause before Charitha could hear her sister Ragini’s voice.
“Hello sis, how is everything with you there?”
“Of course, fine.” Charitha said and she found something different in her sister’s voice also. “Mom said you have seen something in the whatsapp and you said to her it is of me and not good. What is it?”
“Then you don’t know anything about this sis?” there was surprise in the voice of Ragini.
“Indeed no.” Charitha’s voice was vehement. “I have no idea what it is. What it is?”
“It is a teaser of the movie you are acting now. It has been released into the you-tube and that Ananth whatsapped it to him.” Sighing heavily Charitha said.
“A teaser of my movie is released?” Charitha felt surprise. Why it has not been told to her at all! “Alright. A teaser of my movie. What is the necessity to all of you to become upset like this by watching that?”
“It is not that much good sis. You have been shown in an indecent way in that. That is why bro and I also became upset. We did not let mom and dad see it at all.”
“Send that teaser immediately to my whatsapp Rag.” Charitha’s voice was vehement.
“If you don’t see it yet, it is better that you don’t see it at all.” Ragini said. “There is no surprise at all. It is quite common showing heroines in such a way in movies. We all have expected this.”
“I asked you to send that video clip.” Unintentionally Charitha yelled. “I must know what it is just in seconds.”
Charitha’s heart was filled with deep shock, surprise and dismay while going through the teaser sent by her sister Ragini. She has sent it from her brother’s phone as it has been sent to him.
She knew she was being exposed to the maximum on the river bank on that day but she could not guess every inch of her would be captured like that! That single piece bikini was not just concealing anything in a proper way on her body but accentuating her youth parts to the maximum and not having it was much better rather than having it. The camaras captured front and back of her in an equal measure and all her body was shown in a systematic way. The canal between her two buttocks was just accentuated more and they were making rhythmic movements while she was walking! Suddenly Charitha wiped her tears off and stood up with force. “Who gave him the authority to release a teaser like this?” she asked angrily.
“He has the authority.” Prameela said looking into the face of Charitha. “If you signed on the contract only after reading it full, I need not tell you about this.”
“I read the contract and there is a clause of it in it of course.” Charitha was still very much angry. “But a dirty teaser like this? And that too this much before even completing the movie?”
“A teaser of the movie will be released long before the releasing of the movie to make the audience acquaint with the movie. Moreover those guys shot it like that only to release it as a teaser.” Prameela put her right hand around her shoulders. “It is that type of a movie and it needs that type of publicity. It does not last long in that you-tube. Moreover there is not much chance that many number of people to see it.”
“My bro saw it as one of his friends sent it to him. By that itself you can understand how many people have seen it.” there was suddenly anxiousness in the voice of Charitha.
Prameela was about to say something more but suddenly Charitha’s cell phone rang and it was her father.
“I am sorry dad, I am absolutely sorry.” Once again Charitha broke out into weeping. “I put you all to lot of shame. I brought our family disgrace.”
“It is not at all so, dear. It is not at all so.” Her father’s voice was firm. “You are doing it only for our family’s sake. You just stop feeling worry like that.”
“Alright dad. I do try.” Charitha wiped her tears and her father’s saying really gave her some courage. “Anyhow dad, I want to request you one thing.”
“Take it as granted. What it is?”
“You please don’t see it. You don’t let mom see it.”
“Okay. We both don’t see it forever.” His father said. “Your bro also wants to talk with you. Have some chit-chat with him also.”
“Alright dad.” Charitha said and after few seconds her brother Pramod came onto the line and said “Hello”.
“Bro, you are so much angry with me, are not you?” she once again broke into weeping. “I know how you have felt while seeing that teaser.”
“No, sister no.” Her brother’s voice was hasty. “I was deeply hurt of course. But I am not angry with you. I know hundred percent why you are doing that. I know this also hundred percent in what position our family would have been now if you don’t do that.” There was a pause and he said again before Charitha saying anything. “We all have expected that this would be like this. Moreover I said to my friend it is not you and someone else who resembles you and he believed it. Every person who sees this never thinks it is you. All those think how decent and dignified you always be and they never do expect that it is you.”
It was just like a whiplash to Charitha but she knew her brother said so just to put her heart to rest.
“So you stop worrying sister. Just be happy and relaxed all the time.”
“Alright bro. It will be certainly so.” She did not know how but she laughed. She wanted to say something more but before it her brother said. “Dad wants to talk something more to you.”
“Okay, give it to dad.”
“But sis..........” her brother said. “...........can you make a promise to me now?”
“Just think I have made.” Feeling surprise what that could be Charitha said. “Tell me what it is?”
“Can you promise me that you do never act in movies again?” there was suddenly pleading in his voice.
“Of course, I can.” Suddenly Charitha’s voice was firm. “It is my promise to you that I do never act in movies again. This is my first and last movie.”
After few seconds she heard her father’s voice again. “I just want to say two things to you.”
“Tell me dad, what they are?” once again Charitha started feeling surprise while trying to guess what they were.
“It may be a bad movie and it is being produced only for money. But just because of it we have been given that much of money and we came out of all our problems. So you need to do justice. Just don’t upset yourself for anything and put your heart and soul on your acting.”
“Alright, I do so dad.” Charitha once again laughed unintentionally. “What is the next thing?”
“I am just proud of you.” Her dad’s voice was firm. “Only few daughters can do like as you are doing to save their families.”
Charitha wanted to say something more but the line was cut off. She did not know whether her father cut off the call or it happened automatically like that but she did not want to call again and talk. But her heart was suddenly with determination and fixed feelings.
