33 - Overconfidence:

This was the 13th interview of Robert. Prior to this he appeared in a dozen interviews and cleared them with ease too, but did not join any of the companies due to one or the other reason. One of the reasons for it was that he was not only intelligent but over confident and as such overambitious too. He was of the opinion that no interviewer can doze him at any point of Time.

And this time too he appeared in this interview with too much confidence.

The interviewer was a lone man who was the boss of the company.

When Robert entered the chamber of the boss, the boss asked him to take his seat.

After wishing to the boss Robert sat on the chair in front of the boss.

The boss explained to him certain principles on which this company runs. One of them was the cleanliness and another the reliability and warned that the company does not compromise on these two aspects at all.

Robert nodded in affirmation that he acknowledged these principles of the company and will adhere to these if he is selected (though he was sure that he is the only candidate to be selected).

The first question the boss asked was ‘Mr. Robert tell me whether you cleaned your shoes on the doormat before entering my chamber or not?’

Robert smiled and answered in affirmation.

You can go Mr. Robert because you are neither reliable nor cleanly freak.

You don’t know? There is no doormat at the gate of my chamber.

34 - I am your daughter:

As a precautionary measure of Covid 19 Her face was completely clad with the cloth except the eyes. Also, she was wearing hand gloves while waiting for a bus on the bus stand.

Mr. D was smoking sitting on his motorbike near the bus stand. He asked the staff of the bus stand what time the bus will reach there.

A member of the bus stand staff was well acquainted with Mr. D and his vagabondage.

He winked at Mr. D, and asked him ‘are you looking at the young girl waiting there at the bus stand?’

Yes. replied Mr. D and marched towards the girl waiting at the bus stand.

Mr. D said to the girl lewdly ‘darling would you like to come with me, I will send you to your destination.’

The girl slapped him saying ‘dad! I am C. Your daughter.

35-Next to god:

Mr. G was a well-known businessman of the city donating crores of Rupees for the welfare of poor’s upbringing. He was close to many of the to the higher politicians of the country too.

Today there was a rush in the famous and best hospital of the city as the only son of Mr. G was admitted in it as he met with an accident and was battling for his life.

The kind of treatment the son Of Mr. G required was a special one and the best expert of this treatment Doctor S was called from the other city.

People were treating Doctor S as next to god in such cases.

Mr. G was anxiously waiting and was moving here and there in the hospital.

He was losing his heart as the time was passing. As Doctor S reached the hospital Mr. G started shouting at him for arriving so late. He even showed his money power and higher approach to the doctor.

The doctor asked him to allow him to do his job first for which he was called here.

Mr. G was still angry but Doctor S did not wait for him and rushed into the operation theatre. After two hours Doctor S came out of the operation theatre with a smile on his face, but did not interact with any one and left the hospital by his vehicle.

Mr. G was aghast and felt insulted by the action of Doctor S as the doctor left without any interaction with him though the son of Mr. G was out of danger.

Mr. G showed his anguish to the hospital staff on the behaviour of doctor S, but was stunned when one of the doctors told him that the reason for late arrival of Doctor S,  was  that he was busy in the funeral ceremony of his only son who died in the same accident in which your son dashed his vehicle with that of the doctor's son mistakenly and got injured.

36-Infixed:

This was the first time when Mr. K, the top brass of Railway, was infixed to deal with the leave application of one of the employees.

Twice he read the application in which a station master wrote ‘Dear sir, my wife is sick. Kindly send the reliever and also sanction him ten days leave.’

37- Copying needs no brain:

He is of the opinion that there is no need to use the brain if one has to copy others. And he proved it in the examination hall too.

He was poor in studies and almost passed all his exams by copying other students. He was firm that if one can pass an exam without studying why to waste time in study.

He quitted his academic career the day he was thrown out of the exam hall.

Actually, on that day he was copying the other student beside his seat and started clapping in the air. Twice he was instructed by the invigilator not to do so again but he did not obey the instructions of the invigilator and continued clapping.

On enquiry he told the invigilator that he is clapping to kill a fly because he has to paste the dead fly on the fourth page of his answer sheet.

The invigilator asked what for?

He replied that there is a dead fly pasted on the fourth page of the student on the side Seat from which he was copying. He was immediately thrown out of the exam hall.

38-Virtual villain:

He was a ugly faced character with big and pointed moustaches.

He was earning his livelihood by acting in dramas etc.

His ugly face was helping him in getting the role of a villain on a high price. His loud voice was suited to the character of a villain. His acting was so effective that the audience used to start screaming on his entry on the dais. Not only this some lady spectators used to throw shoes when he was acting as rapist trying to rape a lady actor on the dais.

And he was taking this action of the audience as a compliment of his Acting.

For some time now he has quitted acting saying that now the audience neither screams nor throws the shoes as compliments which means that now my acting skill is doomed.

39-Touchy:

He is a famous lawyer practicing in the supreme court of the country. Everybody knows that he never lost a case.

He charges heavy fees to his clients. The only strange thing about him is that he is very scared and touchy of his image, health and the advice of others he took to his heart seriously.

If you say to him ‘today you are looking somewhat upset, are you not feeling well?’

He will say no, not at all. But as soon as you vanish, he will straightway go to his family doctor for check-up.

In the childhood he read some old axioms about marriage which reads as under-

1- Before you marry keep both eyes open; after marriage keep one eye shut.

2-If marriage were outlawed, only outlaws would have in-laws.

3-Marriage changes passion; suddenly you’re in bed with a relative!

4-I married my wife for her looks... but not the ones she's been giving me lately!

He decided not to marry and is still unmarried.

40- Contempt:

A client reported to his lawyer that the claimant has filed a suit against him in the court suing me for his contempt.

The lawyer asked to tell him the matter in detail. The client told that the claimant was sued by him for a theft of rupees five hundred from his house and in turn the claimant sued him for his contempt stating that he is a graded thief and never stolen less than five lacs and he is feeling insulted.

The claimant has placed its paper proof in the court.

41- Mother is always a mother:

As I reached the home, my dead asked angrily ‘are you free now from vagrancy? I thought you may have forgotten the way to your home.’

On entering the door my elder brother met me and asked ‘could you find any job?’

In the drawing room my four-year son asked ‘dad what you bought for me?’

I was fed-up and returned back from my bed room immediately as my wife was taunting ‘today again you forgot to bring my face cream.’

In anguish, I was to leave home again but I heard the weak voice of my sick mother, laying in the bed she asked me ‘son! have you taken some food.’

I sat back in the drawing room with tearful eyes.

42- Sham Interview:

I know that these interviews are the sham as the selection of the candidates are prefixed either against some money or on some high-level sources.

To the candidate who is to be selected, the interviewer asks the name of the capital of India and the candidates those who are not to be selected, he asks the name of the country of whose capital is Delhi.

The interviewer knows very well that if he is asking the name of the capital of India every candidate can reply. It is too easy.

Do I not know that the name of the capital of India is Islamabad?

43- Deadly love:

She was loving her SUV to the extent that once she beat her son with an iron rod as she saw that her son was writing ‘I love you too much my Mom’ on the SUV.

She reached her home by her SUV and while getting down of it she opened the door, another vehicle dashed with the door and broke it.

She was so furious that she phoned the nearby police station.

On arrival of the police she lodged a FIR against the driver of the vehicle which dashed and broke the door of her SUV.

When the policeman informed her that her right hand is also missing and the blood is oozing, she lodged another FIR for the theft of her bracelet by the same driver of the vehicle which dashed her SUV.

44 -Enjoy the sorrows:

There might be at least two to three hundred people. He was of his own type facetious.

He addressed the audience and threw a joke at them. A laughter erupts in the Audience.

Again, he threw the same joke and saw that half of the audience laughed.

Third time also he threw the same joke and observed that only fewer people laughed.

He tried the same joke at the audience and saw that none of them laughed.

Not only this, some of them taunted him saying that why are you boring us by throwing the same joke again and again?

He silenced everyone there, by explaining that if on the same good thing you are getting bored why are you all weeping every time when something bad happens to you.

45 - Business:

A businessman said to his son to marry the girl of his choice.

The son refused to do so telling his father that he is in love with another girl.

The girl I suggested is the daughter of Bill gates. The father informed the son.

OK dad.

The businessman went to Bill Gates and got your daughter to marry my son.

Bill Gates said no to the businessman.

The businessman told Bill Gates that his son is the CEO of the World Bank.

Bill Gates agreed to marry his daughter to the son of the businessman.

The businessman went to the World Bank and asked to appoint his son as CEO of the World Bank.

The businessman got a negative answer.

The businessman said ‘his son is the son in law of Bill Gates.

Send your son from tomorrow to join as CEO of the World Bank. The CMD of the world bank asked the businessman.
