સૌરાષ્ટ્રની મીરાં : ગંગાસતી એક મીરાં ચિતોડમાં થયાં, મીરાંબાઈ અને એક મીરાં સૌરાષ્ટ્રમાં થયા ગંગાસતી. ગંગાસતીએ પ્રભુને તીવ્રતાથી ચાહ્યા, માટે તે મીરાં છે. ભાવનગર જિલ્લાના પાલિતાણા તાલુકામાં રાજપરા નામનાં ગામમાં ગંગાસતીનો જ્ન્મ થયો. તેમના પિતાનું નામ શ્રી ભાઈજીભી જેસાજી સરવૈયા હતું. શ્રી ભાઈજીભી રાજપુત ગિરાસદાર હતાં. માતાનું નામ રૂપાળીબા હતું. ગંગાસતીનો જન્મ 1846માં થયો હતો એવું અનુમાન છે. ગંગાબાનાં લગ્ન સમઢિયાળાના રાજ્પુત ગિરાસદાર શ્રી કહળસંગા કલભા ગોહિલ સાથે 1864માં થયાં હતાં. તે કાળની રાજપુત ગિરાસદાર પરંપરા પ્રમાણે ગંગાબા
