You Are My Diamond... - 6

Alex walked into his house, greeted by his mother's warm smile. "Hey, mom," he said, taking a seat at the dinner table. She had prepared his favorite dish, and they spent the next hour catching up on each other's days.

After dinner, Alex headed to his room, changed into comfortable clothes, and took a refreshing bath. He then settled into his favorite spot in the balcony with a steaming cup of tea.

As he gazed out into the night, his thoughts drifted to Rosy. He remembered how he had scolded her earlier, and how she had tears in her eyes. He recalled the way her face had looked, so vulnerable and hurt.

Alex felt a pang of guilt in his chest, but he pushed it aside. He didn't want to dwell on it. He took a sip of his tea and focused on the peacefulness of the night.

But his mind kept wandering back to Rosy. He thought about how she had looked at him, her eyes filled with tears. He thought about how he had felt, so angry and frustrated.

Alex sighed and put his cup down. He didn't want to think about it anymore. He got up and went to bed, trying to push the thoughts out of his mind. As he drifted off to sleep, he wondered what tomorrow would bring.
Alex lay in bed, his mind racing with thoughts of Rosy and their earlier encounter. He couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt that had been nagging him since their argument. As he drifted off to sleep, he remembered the conversation he had with Jack earlier that day.

Jack's words echoed in his mind: "Love is the most real thing I've ever felt. It's what makes life worth living!" Alex thought about how Jack had spoken about love with such passion and conviction. He wondered if he had been wrong to dismiss the idea of love so easily.

As he thought about Rosy, he realized that he had been pushing her away, just like he had been pushing away the idea of love. He remembered the way she had looked at him, her eyes filled with tears, and her face so vulnerable and hurt.

Alex felt a pang of regret in his chest. He realized that he had been afraid of getting hurt, of being vulnerable, of opening up to someone. But Jack's words had made him see that love was worth the risk.

With a newfound determination, Alex made a mental note to apologize to Rosy and make things right between them. He fell asleep with a sense of hope and a willingness to take a chance on love.

Would he see Rosy again? Would he apologize for his behavior? He didn't know, but he hoped that tomorrow would be a better day. With that thought, he fell asleep at 12:00.
