There is no point in protecting your religion, if in the process several innocent people are tortured and killed; because the latter act is itself anti-thesis of a true religion and any true religionic-philosophy.

Because, it is seen that the ones who became self-proclaimed saviours of religion or 'God', have had committed such atrocities on their own citizens, and saved some so that they could rule over them; they were and are power, wealth, and pleasure hungry rulers, and they acquire all these in the name of religion or 'God'; who can be more fallen than such people?
