The expression of gratitude depends on the nature of man. When a big person does your work, you often bow down and thank them, but if a small person does your work, the first reaction is "I was so busy with the work and that is why I had to hand it over" and you just do the formality of being grateful. This is painful despite being instinctive in life. Gifts are showered on big men in return for work while the little ones are satisfied with nothing.
