Sometimes it is the path you're most tempted to take.

Alas, it seems, your 'happiness' is worth only all the decisions you take "against" not having 'it' in the first place— to please the society.

What a pitiful way of letting yourself be gaslighted indeed.

With hope comes the new day,
With misery comes the new way,
But as they say, you still have today,
And is it not what you tell yourself everyday?

What do you say to the feeling of nostalgia — of being crushed beneath the weight of memories, soothed for all its wounds inflicted and yet traversing you through the wonderful moments of life that you shall never see and embrace, atleast in that stage of your life, emotions and age, again — should it be the cause of someone's recurring sadness, or should one simply prepare oneself to always let go of things and people in the end?

It is a pitiful realisation — that the life we seek outside our realms and dreams is the same life perhaps not so well admired and appreciated by those who already own it to their heart's content.

Life is all about seeking happiness while "living" itself must be nothing "short" of happiness.

Would the world were to end today, I'd like just a moment alone with my thoughts and perhaps rejoice in the fact that somehow, in the end, I'd have peace after all— after chasing it for so long and so hard.

To My Dearest Readers,

I know it goes without saying and announcing it, by me, but still, I'd say if anyone has yet never got around to having a dip of sweet and sour taste of my new novel "The Wrong Bride" — I'd just let it be said that you're in for a good sort of surprise and yet familiar pangs of heartache of unrequited love— with sizzle and steam, of course, as is warranted by my writing style manifested in my previous book as well.

Also, it is not under Vishesh Program so it's undeniable free as well. I couldn't wait to see you all savour it as much as I savoured writing it.

I also wish to thank you all for your immense support for my previous work— "When We Met" —It is my first ever work and surely shows the amateurish writing but it pleases me thoroughly to know that it still didn't deter the hearts of my most amazing readers to give it a chance anyway.

For that, I shall ever be the most grateful to you all.

Have a Good Day.

Aisha. ❤️

I know it's been a very long time since you guys have got anything from my side to read. I've been terribly busy with my Final Year Exams and Internship Duties so I hope you'd spare me some of your wrath.

I tried my hands on Poetry, this time. The piece I uploaded was written four years ago but I think the duration of its discourse does not decline the lesson this poetry gives any more than the one I would've written just yesterday. It holds to it's narrative and the Societal Obligations, so I hope you'll find it a Readable Literature Piece, if not the Masterpiece, ofc.

Thank you.

Good Day to you.

Aisha. ❤️

And so I let him go. From my heart who never got what it wanted, from my wishful thinking that he'd ever be mine and from any obligation he ever felt for me. I released him even when he won't ever know that he was the one holding me back to him time and again.

And so I just let him go, slowly, gradually and painfully; while he sat beside me talking animatedly about how he liked this girl in his office so damn much.

I let him go for all the right reasons as I felt like wanting him as much as I wanted him now and ever — was for all the wrong reasons after all.
