Love beyond the dream

Nina woke up gasping for breath. Morning sunlight poured through the window, but her mind was still trapped inside the strange dream she had seen the night before.

The dream had felt so vivid… so real… as if it had truly happened.

Inside the Dream

Nina’s pov :

"I saw..."

A city where every house was painted white. It was late afternoon, the sunlight soft and golden. I was walking alone down a quiet road.

Suddenly, my steps stopped in front of a beautiful white two floor house.

Something about it felt painfully familiar.

As if I had been there before.

But when?

I couldn’t remember.

Then a boy walked out of the house.

Tall. Fair-skinned. His voice was soft and gentle — the kind of voice that instantly feels familiar, like someone you’ve known forever.

But his face… His face was blurry.

I couldn’t see him clearly, yet somehow… I knew him.

Like we know each other.

He looked at me and said softly,

“Come inside.”

I followed him in.

We climbed upstairs, and he made tea for me.

“There’s nobody home,” he said with a smile.

I walked to the back of the house.

There was a large garden, and beyond it stretched an endless field.

Everything felt familiar to me.

Then suddenly—

He wrapped his arms around me from behind.

I didn’t flinch.

As if somewhere deep inside, I had always known this would happen.

I held his hands.

They were cold like ice.

But his body was warm.

I whispered,

“Why are your hands so cold?”

He tried to pull them away, but I held tighter.

“No… keep them here. My hands are warm. Maybe it’ll help.”

He laughed softly.

Then he held me closer, hiding his face near my neck.

His eyes…
Those beautiful eyes silently said:

“I’ve been waiting for you for so long.”

We moved closer.

Our lips were almost about to touch—

When suddenly his father appeared and pulled us apart.

I burst into tears.

Angrily, I shouted,

“Your son has loved me for a long time! I refused before… but today I finally wanted to say yes, and you stopped us?”

I ran out of the house.

Before leaving, I turned back once.

He was standing there silently.
Tears in his eyes.

Looking at me with unbearable longing.

And then I kept walking down the road…

Evening fell.
And somehow… I returned to the house again.

But this time, I came through another road.

Strangely, it felt like the same house and yet not the same place.

As if it existed in another dimension.
Or maybe another time.

This time his mom was home.

I secretly entered and searched for him.

But fear suddenly gripped me.

“He’ll get punished because of me.”

So I left again.

From outside, I could hear his mother scolding him.

And his soft voice replying.

I knew…
He was being blamed because of me.

So once again, I walked away.
Not knowing where I was going.

Only knowing one thing—
I would come back to him again.
Again and again.

— After Waking Up

Nina opened her eyes.
Her chest was pounding.
Tears filled her eyes.

Outside the window was her real city, her real room…

Yet it felt as though the guy truly existed somewhere.

His cold hands.
His gentle eyes.
And that white house.

Everything felt real.

She whispered softly,
“Who are you? Where are you? Or are you only a dream?”

— The Following Days

Every night, Nina saw the same dream again.

Sometimes she and the guy walked beside the sea.
Sometimes through the mountains.
And sometimes back in that white house.

And every time—
His hands felt a little less cold.

As if nina’s warmth was slowly reaching him.

One night, she asked him,
“Are you real? Or are you only my imagination?”

The guy smiled gently.
“I live inside your heart. Isn’t that enough?”

Nina cried.
“No… I want to touch you for real. I want to see you in reality.”

— The Final Dream

One night, Nina stood once more in front of the white house.

But this time, everything was different.

The guy stepped outside.

And finally—
His face was clear.

Deep black eyes.
A soft, beautiful smile.

He walked toward her and held out his hand.

This time, his hands weren’t cold.

They were warm.

“You waited for me,” he whispered.
“And I waited for you too. For a very long time.”

Nina’s voice trembled.
“Who… who are you?”

The guy held both her hands.

“I’m the person who has been loving you and waiting for you in reality. You just haven’t met me yet.”

“But… how?”

He smiled softly.

“Soon. Very soon. One day, you’ll stand in front of a white house. I’ll recognize you immediately. And you’ll recognize me too.”

“But how will I know it’s you?”

He leaned forward and kissed her forehead.

“You’ll hold my hand. And the one whose hands are cold… will be me.”

— Six Months Later

Nina traveled to another city for an office training program.

One evening, while walking alone outside her hotel, she suddenly stopped.

In front of her —
A white two floor house.

Her heartbeat became wild.
"This… this is the house."

She slowly walked closer.

The design.
The garden.
Everything was exactly like her dreams.

And then—

A boy stepped outside.

Tall. Fair-skinned. Deep, beautiful eyes.

Their eyes met.

The boy walked toward her slowly.

“Are you… lost?”

That voice.
That same soft voice.

Tears filled Nina’s eyes.
“I… I don’t know.”

The boy smiled warmly.
“Come inside. My name is Neil”

“Neil?” she whispered in shock.

“Yes. And yours?”

“Nina.”

Neil looked at her strangely, almost as if he already knew her.

“Nina… that’s a beautiful name.”

Inside the house, Neil made tea for her.

Nina walked toward the back garden.

The large field stretched endlessly beyond it.

Neil came and stood behind her.
“Do you like this house?”

Nina turned slowly.
“It feels like… I’ve been here before.”

Neil smiled softly.
“Maybe in a dream?”

Nina’s eyes widened.
“How did you know that?”

Neil stepped closer and extended his hand.
“I know… because I’ve been seeing the same dreams too. Every night.”

With trembling fingers, Nina held his hand.

Cold.
Exactly like before.

Tears rolled down her cheeks.
“You… you’re real?”

Neil pulled her into his arms.

“Yes, Nina. I’m real. And I've been waiting for you... longer than you could ever imagine."”

“Your hands are still cold.”

Neil laughed softly.

“Then warm them for me. Just like you did in the dream.”

Nina held his hands tighter.

“I won’t let go this time. Nobody can separate us anymore.”

Neil kissed her forehead gently.

“No. This time, nobody can.”

Neil hugged her tightly, a silent thought crossing his mind.
< Every night I saw the same girl. I knew her voice before I knew her face..

From that day onward, Nina never saw the dream again.

Because her dream was no longer trapped inside sleep.

It was sitting beside her now—
In flesh, blood, and heartbeat.

Sometimes Neil’s hands still became cold.

And every time, Nina would hold them tightly, filling them with her warmth.

Together they sat in the garden behind the white house, watching the endless field beyond.

And Nina finally understood—

Some loves begin in dreams…
But are destined to become real.

And that touch—
That untouched, eternal touch—
Would bind them together forever.

Because some souls search for each other across lifetimes.

And once they finally meet…
Nothing in the world can ever separate them again.

The End

— A love born in dreams, completed in reality.
