Test Day Disaster

One day, I went to college feeling completely relaxed. The weather that morning was really pleasant, and the entire campus had its usual chaos. Some students were talking about assignments, some were worried about attendance, while others were simply roaming around as if college existed only for timepass and not for studying. I slowly walked toward my classroom. That day, we had a Communication module class, and there was also going to be a test. As soon as I entered the classroom, I found out that only students who were physically present would be allowed to take the test. Anyone absent from college that day would not be able to attempt it.

I sat down at the front table. My grumpy friend was also sitting there along with a few other students nearby. She had a habit of noticing every tiny rule and pointing out everyone’s mistakes. On top of that, her expression always looked like she alone was responsible for managing the entire class. Because of that, I usually stayed a little careful around her.

A few minutes later, I received a message from my friend who had not come to college that day. He texted me, “Bro, somehow send me the test access code, otherwise I’ll have problems with internals.” At first, I directly refused. I thought there was no point in taking an unnecessary risk. But slowly, boredom and friendship together planted a strange idea in my mind.

I kept staring at the attendance sheet while all kinds of calculations were running inside my head. I thought that if I could create a little confusion in attendance, maybe my friend could somehow be considered present. My whole focus was on marking some other guy absent and adjusting the situation in my friend’s favor. At that moment, I felt extremely confident, almost like I was handling some secret mission.

But the real twist of the story came when my grumpy friend suddenly wrote her name at the bottom of the attendance sheet. She probably thought the teacher had missed her attendance. The problem was that the teacher had already marked her absent and never noticed the name written below later. Because of that, the teacher assumed she was trying to take the test from home.

At that moment, none of us understood what had actually happened. The class ended normally, and everything looked fine. I also thought the situation was under control. But the real chaos began after college ended. Suddenly, ma’am sent a message in the class group saying, “Those trying to act extra smart can quietly leave now, I won’t do anything.”

The moment I saw that message, I panicked. My hands practically went cold. I immediately called my friend and explained the entire situation. He stayed silent for almost two minutes and then suddenly burst out laughing. Later, he even messaged ma’am and apologized so the matter would not become more serious.

The next day, when I reached college, my grumpy friend came to me and said, “Do you know ma’am marked me absent yesterday?” Confusion was clearly visible on her face. But she had absolutely no idea that ma’am thought she was trying to give the test from home. While listening to her, I was struggling to control my laughter from inside. I kept thinking that I had planned to mark someone else absent, but instead I accidentally trapped the girl sitting right next to me at my own table.

The funniest part was that her attendance was reduced, and she still had no clue about the real story behind everything. That night, I told the whole incident again to my friend, and the two of us laughed continuously for almost an hour. Honestly, the confusion, fear, comedy, and chaos of that day felt no less than a movie scene. That day truly turned into absolute cinema.
