From dawn until nightfall, I spent the time lost in memories;
I drifted into a trance, listening to sorrowful melodies.
Change is the universal law of this world;
As I journeyed on, both my perspective and the scenery transformed.
The flowing rhythm of the seasons beguiled me so completely;
That even the moon and stars grew weary and fell asleep alongside me.
There is a limit—an entire lifetime—one can spend waiting for someone;
And so, even my resilience finally gave way after enduring for so long.
Yet, the henna-dye of my devotion has deepened in hue;
My love has finally blossomed and borne fruit, radiant and true.

The sheer beauty of this grace beguiles the hearts of lovers;

I have set out to quench the thirst of this parched and thirsty land.
By making buds blossom within this empty, barren womb today;
I have set out to bring the land the blessings of the Divine.
By showering sweet raindrops from clouds gathering on every side;
I have set out to reunite this desolate wasteland with vibrant greenery.

Memories intrude upon moments of peace, coming only to torment;
What solace, I wonder, do these memories find in doing so?
They heed neither the morning light nor the darkness of night;
They simply arrive unannounced, at any given moment.
By replaying those delightful and intoxicating moments,
They bring a downpour of tears to one's eyes.
Just as one settles down to sleep in peace,
They sing melodious songs filled with love, stealing away the heart's tranquility.
Until the very last breath, they will not let you forget, my friend;
These memories fulfill the role of both friendship and enmity alike.

Bhumija brought glory to the name of King Janaka;
She set a perfect example of a virtuous daughter, wife, and mother.
Having spent fourteen years of exile in the forest alongside Lord Rama,
She fulfilled the duties of a true *Sahadharmini* (righteous partner) in every sense. ...he did.
Not once did he ask why everything had to be abandoned.
Without a word of argument or debate, he sought and received blessings.
Accepting the ways of Destiny and the laws of Karma,
Whatever came his way—he quietly ate and drank.
Be it a jungle filled with thorns, or a lush forest or garden—
Even on the most arduous and difficult paths, he stood by my side.

In the race to please both strangers and loved ones—
