Chasing butterflies …….

(A spicy hot romantic and suspense thriller)

By

Kotra Siva Rama Krishna

“You need not advise that at all to me.” She angrily said. “Just remember. I am also saying this to you. I never marry anyone else except you. I even prefer to die than marrying someone else or let you marry someone else.” Then she went away from there.

He felt lot of headache then. He could not understand why he did not feel any love towards her. When she said that she was beautiful she did not say a lie. She was indeed beautiful. But why his heart had said so strongly then not to love her was beyond his understanding.

Madan once again was remembering all the past incidents. Still it was a puzzle to him why he could not love Mamatha even she had fallen after him so. He closed his eyes and leaned back in the chair.

“About what you are thinking this deep?” Sukanya entered into his room and asked him.

            “About Mamatha.” Madan said.

“Just stop thinking about her always. It seems that you have also started believing that she entered into the body of Susmitha.” Slumping herself in the chair nearby Sukanya said.

“I am becoming helpless Sukanya. Sometimes there is deep guilty feeling in me.” Laying himself on the bed and closing his eyes Madan said.

“But why? What mistake you did?” looking surprisingly at him Sukanya asked.

“Mamatha so much loved me. She tried to make me agree to marry her a lot. In fact in one way I was also responsible for her feeling like that to me.” There was pain in his voice.

“Why you are saying so? You never have talked like this to me until now.” Dragging her chair near to him Sukanya said.

“It was in our bloody childhood. I moved myself so close with her. I think I said this to you in before too.” Still not opening his eyes he said.

“Yes, you did. You both have played many games together. You both were intimate of course” Sukanya said. “But that was childhood. How can we take anything seriously that we did in childhood.

“But Mamatha took that seriously. I have forgotten all those games etcetra after I became an adjult but she did not. Now I am also remembering all those games and my intimacy with Mamatha and feeling quite bad.” Madan sat on the bed and looked into the face of Sukanya. “I am not a psychologist like you. I just don’t know how to console myself.”

Sukanya did not say anything but leaned back in the chair still observing Madan.

“Now I am feeling sure that Mamatha entered into the body of Susmitha. Otherwise, she would not have behaved like that at all.” Madan said.

“Stop believing in devils and ghosts.” Sukanya said. “You are an educated and intelligent person Madan. There are no devils and spirits. You too very well know about that.”

“If you cure Susmitha and find how Susmitha could say and behave like that I sure come out of my thinking so.” Madan said.

“I am on that work already.” Sukanya said.

There was silence again until Sukanya broke it. “Now we discuss about your guilty feeling. In my opinion there is no necessity to you to feel guilty.”

“Is it is so? How can you explain that to me?” with a frown he asked her.

“Because as you have said, you behaved like that at a very young stupid age.  It was quite natural to play like that and behave like that at such a tender age. It was her foolishness to develop hopes on you just because of that. In fact on some occasions we both also have played so. In our those childhood days Vineet and I also played like that.” She paused for a moment and then said again. “At the same time at no point of time you said to her that either you do love her or marry her.

“You made me feel a little relieved from my guilty feeling.” With a smile on his lips Madan said.

“In fact you are quite good. Even after Mamatha was falling after you like that, you never have tried to take advantage on that. If it was anyone else in your place it would have been different.”

“You made me even more relieved now.” Coming into the opposite chair to her, Madan said. “But what we should do now?” he asked her again.

“There is no necessity to feel guilty to you. Be completely relieved yourself from that. Just notice it first.” She paused for a seonc before saying again. “We have to be patient. Time would be taken to solve this problem completely. Please give me some time and don’t ask for the result in before.”

“I want to talk with you something.” Mangaveni said to Sukanya. They both were in the room allotted to Sukanya.

“Tell me. What it is?” looking into her mother’s face Saukanya asked. But there was no interest in her to know about what it was.

The negligence and arrogance in Sukanya’s face was irritating Mangaveni a lot. Both the sisters were alike. No respect for the elders.

“You did not sleep in this room on yesterday’s night.”

“I slept in Susmitha’s room. I have asked Madan to intimate the same to you.” laying herself on the bed there Sukanya said.

“Yes, he did.” Mangaveni said. “But I want to know why did you prefer to sleep in her room?”

“Susmitha asked me to do so.” Sukanya did not like to tell everything to her mother.

Mangaveni remained silent for some seconds and then said. “That Susmitha is appearing mentally unbalanced. It is not safe to stay longer with those types of people.”

“But mom, I am a psychologist. I am supposed to treat the people with unbalanced minds.” Sukanya said irritatingly.

“But psychologists are not supposed to sleep with their patients.” Mangaveni tauntingly said.

Her mother’s saying so irritated Sukanya to the highest degree. Still she controlled herself and said. “Susmitha is a very good friend to me. So I have slept with her so. Not just yesterday, from now onwards every night I shall sleep with her.”

Mangaveni hissed heavily. “You both sisters are same to same. You would not listen to any reason or logic.”

There was silence. Especially Sukanya did not want to say anything then.

“But be careful atleast. I am feeling a sort of fear whenever I looked at that girl.”

“I shall be in my care. You need not worry about that.” Sukanya did not know what else to say then.

“What you are doing now?” entering into the room of Sukanya, Susmitha asked her.

“It is very rare that you do come into my room. Always I come into your room. Please sit here.” Showing the chair opposite to her Sukanya said.

“I felt bore sitting all the time in my room. So I have come like this into yours.” Susmitha said looking at the book in the hands of Sukanya. “It seems that you are reading a psychology book. Am I disturbing you?”

“Not at all. As there is no one to talk, I have indulged in reading this book.” Putting aside that book she said.

“Even I have not studied psychology I am as well interested in it and mind related matters.” Susmitha said “How did you get interest to study psychology?”

“While I was studying degree I have a friend. Her father was a psychologist. On one day she took me to her home and in our talking her father discussed about the subject of psychology. That psychology subject appeared quite interesting to me and I have decided to study it then itself. As decided I have studied psychology and became a psychologist.” With a smile Sukanya said.

“You are really lucky and great. You could get what you exactly wanted.” Susmitha said.

“Yes, you are right. In every respect.” Sukanya nodded her head with happiness thinking about Vineet also.

Susmitha nodded her head and remained silent. “What Vineet is doing now?” she asked.

“He is in the fields in his work as usual.” Her nostrils flared as Sukanya breathed heavily.

“Why did not you prefer to go and stay with him?” Susmitha asked her with a smile.

“He does not like being disturbed.” Sukanya irritatingly said. “Sometimes I cannot understand how I have fallen in love with a man like him who is having little feeling.”

“Despite being a psychologist it seems you are having problem in understanding yourself?” Sukanya asked her with surprise.

“Yes. That is the irony. I can analyze the other people’s mentalities but I cannot analyze mine. Why I am feeling this strong love towards Vineet is not understandable to me. May be I am not that much fit to be a psychologist.” There was a strain in her voice while saying that.

“It is not at all so.” keeping her right hand on her left shoulder and squeezing it Susmitha said. “I have already told you about this and saying again. Even you cannot understand, your heart is doing a very nice thing by prompting you to love Vineet. Vineet is a very good boy.”

“Alright then. I am feeling happy now.” Sukanya said.

There was silence between them both and Sukanya had broken it. “How it is going between you and Madan?”

“Madan always love me a lot and vice versa. There are no differences between us both. But this Mamatha….”

“Leave that thing. It shall be solved. You too know about that.” leaning back in the chair Sukanya said.  “The less we talk about Mamatha the much better it would be.”

            “Alright.” Susmitha nodded her head.

“Do you people exchange atleast kisses between you both?” looking mischievously at her Sukanya asked.

“Are we both appearing that innocent to you?” Susmitha laughed and said. “Except that major thing, everything else has happened in between us.”

“Why did you leave it aside? If you both have finished that as well there comes a strong connection with your loves.” Her lips twitched with a cunning smile.

“You naughty. How do you talk like this?” Susmitha laughed and said “This means you and Vineet …..”

“I think that I have already told that to you and there was a discussion as well between us then about that.” Sukanya said “We did have that as well quite successfully. Vineet proved himself quite virile.”

“Yes you said….” Susmitha smiled and tried to say something.

“If we love someone deeply and sincerely there is no problem in giving ourselves before marriage. Marriage is just a ritual to proclaim to the outside world that a man and woman are husband and wife. It does not give any particular status to sex. If having sex before marriage is wrong it is wrong even after marriage too. If having sex…..”

“Before marriage is right it is right even after marriage as well.” Susmitha completed for her. “This is what you are going to say, is it is not?”

“Yes, that is it.” Sukanya said. The irony here was, even she talked like that Sukanya could not feel hundred percent so. That was why she put a condition like that with Vineet.

They talked many a thing in between themselves then.

“You have become too late to come to home on this day.” Looking at Vineet who came to home at 11.00 in the night Mangaveni said.

Vineet looked at Mangaveni quite surprisingly. It was indeed very first time in his life that this woman talked that smoothly with him.

“Sometimes it becomes like this to me.” Vineet did not come out of his surprise fully. “But you are still awake? Why did not you sleep yet?”
