Religion, meditation and silence

✦ Vedanta 2.0 — The Science of Bliss (Enhanced Version)

 You pray –

You pray. You go to the temple—

You go to the temple. You chant mantras, practice meditation, and pray—

 Keep doing it.

There is no question of changing any religion here.

No new law, no new sacrifice, no new solution.

Doing nothing is acceptable here. Stay at home.

 no flaws.

There is no discussion of sin, no reckoning of virtue, no struggle with lust, no suppression of anger.

Live life as it is, in the light of acceptance.

Heart beating inside, breathing moving -

This is the first truth of life.

If there is work, there is—

That is the energy of nature. If there is anger, it is there—

 That is also power.

Nature knows transformation. Lust, when lived consciously, becomes celibacy. Anger, when channeled into awareness, becomes compassion. Desires, when left unfettered, become love.

The world as it is, is as it should be.

Change is its eternal law. Yesterday's beliefs become burdens today.

This is the trick of survival.

There is only one rule of life –

 Live.

Every moment, with complete presence.

While traveling, while eating, while drinking tea and water –

If love and joy are together, then that is meditation.

Taste it. Listen to the music. Take in the view.

This is not a sin—

This is a celebration of nature.

Sorrow begins when we become masters of happiness.

We say –

This gives happiness, that gives sorrow.

Then we look for the reason.

A happy person says –

Guru is the cause, God is the cause.

Even a sad person says –

The second reason is, God or Satan is the reason.

Sometimes they say –

I am the reason.

The truth is this –

 All these assumptions are incomplete.

Accepting the reason itself becomes a bondage.

When you consider the reason outside –

Then you lose responsibility. When you admit the reason yourself—

Then ego or remorse is born.

Both situations swallow up freedom.

There is no single root of happiness and sorrow.

The mind just needs movement –

 Some medium is needed.

Now look at the karma.

The fruits of karma are not in the future.

The fruit is what happens within while doing something.

After eating food, you will feel hungry again – this is the rule.

But the joy that is awakened while eating, the satisfaction that spreads – that is the fruit.

The peace that comes while serving is the fruit.

The results after the service

That is the situation, not the result.

The feeling that occurs between action and result –

He is the truth. He is God.

This is why nothing is gained by listening to sermons –

But the joy that occurs while listening is God.

Bhajans, songs, games, films —

 Happiness decreases everywhere.

But we do not wear it.

We don't live the moment, we only create memories.

That is why he asks for the same happiness again and again.

The pleasure in sex decreases, but we are not in that moment.

We stand in the past or the future.

If the complete awareness of that moment is absorbed, then that same sex becomes love, becomes samadhi.

Peace is found in the temple, but we hold on to the idol and leave peace.

Unless peace is imbibed within, the temple becomes a habit.

Money comes, resources come.

There is also joy –

 But we don't collect it.

Then he says –

 There was less money.

The lack is not of money, but of understanding.

Enjoyment is a science.

Which we were not taught.

This is the quest of Vedanta 2.0.

The science of living life as it is.

If something blossoms within you while reading, then that is God.

and if not -

So leaving it here is also complete freedom.

✧ Vedanta 2.0 Life ✧

The Science of Living

Where understanding stops, this book is not out to teach religion.

It does not proclaim any God. It does not provide any spiritual practice, method, or rule.

If you have come to become something –

Then this book is not for you.

Vedanta 2.0 Life is not an attempt to improve life, but to see life.

This book does not explain happiness and sorrow, but rather reveals the habits by which we create happiness and sorrow.

Here's the thing about karma –

But without greed for the fruits.

Here's the fun part—

But without the urge to indulge.

Here God is mentioned –

 But without fear and faith.

This book will not make you a better person, nor successful, nor spiritual.

But if you read carefully –

Then maybe you'll be less confused.

What this book is not: It is not a religious text

This is not a sermon or a sermon

This is not an inspirational book.

It does not provide a solution

What this book is about: Direct observation of life

A clear distinction between action and pleasure

An investigation into the causes of happiness and suffering

A sober vision of living

It is not necessary to read this book continuously.

Sometimes a chapter, sometimes a page, and sometimes just a sentence is enough.

If you feel like stopping somewhere while reading –

So stop.

This book was not written for a quickie.

And even if you read till the end –

So don't draw any conclusions.

Because this book does not give conclusions.

This leaves only one possibility –

That perhaps living might be enough.

A request to the reader

If you think there's more to life to understand

Then this book will probably disappoint.

But if you feel like living life a little –

Then this book can stay with you.

✧ Vedanta 2.0 Life ✧ Science of Living —

Where questions are slow and life is clear.

 Chapter 1

 Accept it as it is

Religion does not change, vision changes)

You pray –

 Keep praying.

You go to the temple—

 Keep going to the temple.

You do mantras, sadhana, puja and recitation –

There is no need to leave them.

Vedanta 2.0 Life does not stand against any religion, and does not propose any new religion.

It neither says that what you are doing is wrong, nor that something new must be done.

It simply says –

First accept what is.

Often the biggest stress in life arises from the fact that we keep fighting with our present.

We say –

It shouldn't have been like this. I shouldn't have been like this. The world shouldn't have been like this.

This is where sorrow is born.

Vedanta 2.0 does not get involved in this fight.

It says –

The world as it is, is as it could possibly be at this moment.

This isn't giving up. It's having the courage to look at reality.

You are sitting at home, doing nothing –

 Still life goes on.

The heart is beating. Breath is coming and going. Day and night are changing.

Its meaning is clear –

Life does not necessarily require your efforts.

This understanding loosens the mind a bit for the first time.

There is no discussion of sin here, nor any account of virtue.

Here one is neither frightened by lust nor by anger.

If there is work, there is—

That is the energy of nature. If there is anger, it is there—

That is also power.

Nature is not the enemy. Nature knows transformation.

When lust is lived consciously, it becomes celibacy. When anger is channeled into awareness, it becomes compassion.

Desires, when not caught, turn into love.

All this happens not through sacrifice but through acceptance.

Acceptance doesn't mean you won't change anything.

Acceptance means that you stop fighting.

And only when war stops is change possible.

This is the law of the nature

Rules that were useful yesterday may become a burden today.

Perceptions change over time. That's not a fault.

This is the movement of existence.

Vedanta 2.0 is a simple attempt to understand this dynamic.

No promises here—

Neither of wealth, nor of position, nor of salvation.

There is no fear here—

Neither of God, nor of sin, nor of punishment.

Here is just an invitation to see life as it is.

If, while reading this chapter, you felt that there is no hurry to change anything –

So the chapter did its job.

And if it feels like you've come a little closer to your own life for the first time –

So understand that Vedanta 2.0 life has begun.

 Chapter 1 Stoppage

Don't read any further. Wait a moment.

Which is—

 Let it be.

This is the first religion.

Chapter 2 Doing Nothing Is Also a Way

 (acceptance before the verb)

Man was first created as a creature to do something.

I was told since childhood-

Study, move ahead, become something, prove something.

No one ever said this—

Stop. Wait. Look at what's there.

This is where the fatigue begins.

Vedanta 2.0 does not add anything new.

It just removes unnecessary burden.

It does not say to give up action. It does not even say to hold on to action.

It simply says—

 Let acceptance come before action.

You are sitting at home, doing nothing—

 Still life goes on.

Your heart doesn't beat at your behest. Your breathing doesn't come and go according to your plan.

The day passes, the night falls—

 Without your interference.

This is not a philosophy, this is a direct fact.

The moment “doing nothing” starts to seem wrong to you, that very moment you start fighting with life.

And he who fights with life, no matter how much he wins—

 I get tired.

Doing nothing is not laziness.

There is heaviness in laziness. There is lightness in doing nothing.

In laziness the mind wanders. In doing nothing the mind stays still.

The river flows without a goal. The flower blooms without a plan. The sky stretches out without effort.

But the mind wants to remain busy every moment.

Because in busyness the “I” remains safe.

When you do nothing, the “I” becomes a little loose.

And where “I” slacked off—

There, for the first time, peace descends uninvited.

This peace is not earned. It is not earned.

It comes when you give yourself permission to stop.

Chapter 3

 Lust, anger and energy

 (Not suppression, but transformation)

Lust and anger are not the enemies of man.

They are the energies of life.

Enemies are created when we start fighting with them.

Society taught me—

Lust is bad, anger is wrong.

And man started a war within himself.

Where there is war, there is no peace.

Vedanta 2.0 does not teach fighting.

It says—

 See.

Look at lust. Look at anger.

Without naming names, without blaming.

Work arises—

 So energy rises.

Anger arises—

 So the power rises.

This is neither a sin nor a crime.

This is the natural language of life.

Energy does not die by suppression, it gets diverted.

And twisted energy becomes disease, becomes distortion, becomes violence.

Transformation does not happen through repression.

Transformation happens through realization.

When work arises—

So don't suppress it. Let it flow, but with awareness.

Like a river flowing between its banks.

Work lived consciously gradually becomes love.

And love, if not caught—

 Then peace is created.

This is celibacy –

 Not sacrifice, but maturity.

Anger arose—

So don't blame him either.

See-

What is happening in the body at that moment.

There's heat. There's vibration. There's intensity.

If you remain awake in that intensity—

Then the same anger starts turning into compassion.

Because anger is rooted in sensitivity.

And sensitivity is the seed of compassion.

Neither lust nor anger takes you out.

They can take you deeper into—

If you don't run away.

Running away creates habits. Observing creates awareness.

And realization is the biggest change.

 A small example

 Feeling hungry-

So you eat food.

You don't fight hunger.

Work arose in the same way—

 So it can be seen.

Anger arose—

 So it can be felt.

Seeing is the first change.

When you are not against energy, then energy becomes your friend.

And friendly energy does not destroy you—

 She picks it up.

 Chapter 3 Stagnation

If, while reading this chapter, you felt something warm, something alive within you—

So don't panic.

Life is knocking.

Let him come in.
