The Omniverse - 8

Aethion’s Triumph in the Outerverse Void

He turned—
Only to see that the Sealing Box had shattered into glowing particles.
And when he looked forward again—
Aethion stood between Varkur’Thal and Elariah.
Calm. Unshaken.

Varkur’Thal’s face twisted with disbelief and fear.

> “How… how did you break free from my Sealing Box?!”

Aethion stepped forward, his voice steady:

> “It was easy for me. If you want her… you’ll have to go through me.”

Rage ignited.
Varkur’Thal hurled a massive energy blast—pulsing with raw void force.
Aethion raised a hand. Blocked it effortlessly.
The Void trembled.
The battle had begun.

Sparks tore across the emptiness.
Reality bent under their power.
Every strike shook the Outerverse.

From the shadows, Elariah watched—eyes wide with awe.

> “How is he this powerful? He’s not just the ruler… he’s something more.”

Meanwhile, Varkur’Thal’s mind raced in panic.

> “Is this truly the heir of the Omniverse? His power… it’s beyond mine. Impossible!”

At last, Aethion defeated him.

> “You’ll never lay a hand on her again,” he said coldly.

The monstrous being fell to his knees, trembling.

> “W-What kind of monster are you…?”

Aethion stepped forward, power still radiating from his body.

> “I’m Aethion—ruler of the Omniverse. And now, I decide your fate.”

With those final words, Aethion ended Varkur’Thal.
A wave of immense dark energy surged from the corpse, flowing into Aethion’s body—absorbed, neutralized.

He slowly turned.
Elariah stood frozen, eyes wide, lips trembling.

> “You… saved me?” she whispered. “But I… I sealed you. I killed your Omniverse’s god. I did everything wrong... I deserve to be punished…”

Tears streamed down her face, shame and sorrow overwhelming her.

Aethion stepped closer—calm, gentle.

> “No. Don’t cry. At first, I thought I had to defeat and seal you too. But when you showed me that glowing Sealing Box… I sensed something. I knew instantly—that box wasn’t created by you. It was built by a power far greater. I realized it could seal even omnipotence itself.”

He looked into her eyes.

> “That’s when I understood… you were just a piece in someone else’s game. You were caught in a web of manipulation.”

He offered a warm smile.

> “That’s why I let myself be sealed—so I could find the truth. And help you.”

Elariah sobbed, overwhelmed.

> “You saved me… and my Omniverse. How could I ever repay you?”

Aethion stepped forward, his voice warm and kind.

> “This wasn’t your fault. If I were in your place… I might’ve done the same.”

The Crystal of Trapped Rulers

Suddenly, Aethion turned—his senses picking up something strange.
He walked toward a glowing crystal, suspended in the Void like a floating star. As he touched it, a flood of energy surged through his mind.

> “This… this crystal…” he whispered.

Elariah stepped beside him.

> “What is it?”

Aethion’s eyes sharpened.

> “There are beings inside it. Powerful ones. Rulers… from alternate Omniverses. All trapped here.”

Elariah gently placed her hand on the crystal.

> “I can feel their pain. They’ve been suffering… forgotten… lost.”

Without hesitation, Aethion raised his hand, energy flaring from his palm. In one divine motion, he shattered the seal on the crystal.

A blinding light burst forth—countless rulers, gods, and creators from alternate Omniverses emerged. They looked around, stunned and free.
Each one bowed before Aethion with deep reverence.
In graceful waves of cosmic light, they vanished—returning to their own realms, their own destinies.

Elariah stood frozen, her voice trembling in awe.

> “He just… released rulers of Omniverses… like it was nothing…”

 Return to Elariah’s Omniverse

Aethion smiled softly.

> “Alright… are you ready to return to your Omniverse?”

Elariah didn’t respond. She stared at him, completely still—as if caught in a moment too vast to process.

Aethion tilted his head and waved his hand gently in front of her.

> “Hey… are you okay?”

Suddenly, Elariah snapped out of her trance.

> “Huh? Yeah… they’re all waiting for me. I’m ready.”

Aethion raised his hand, opening a radiant portal, glowing like a gateway of living stars.

> “Once you step into this portal, it’ll detect your essence and take you directly to your Omniverse.”

Elariah paused at the edge, her eyes lingering on Aethion.

> “Will we meet again?”

Aethion smiled gently.

> “Yes. We will.”

Elariah nodded slowly, smiled back, and stepped into the light. The portal shimmered—and she was gone.

Return to Adonai’s Omniverse

Aethion returned to his Omniverse.
The gods had gathered. Adonai stood calmly, placing the Weapon of Wiren back onto a divine pedestal made of stardust and law.
He walked toward his son.

> “Are you okay, my son? What happened there?”

Aethion closed his eyes… and told him everything. The truth. The manipulation. The Outerverse Void. The seal. The battle. Elariah’s choice.

As he finished, Aethion looked down, guilt softening his voice.

> “Father… I don’t deserve your position. I couldn’t save Thaluna. She’s gone… I promised to protect everyone, but I failed. I lost…”

Silence fell.
Even the stars seemed to hold their breath.
The gods looked on—some with sympathy, others with silent pain.

Suddenly—
The Weapon of Wiren began to glow.
It lifted itself into the air, shimmering with cosmic fire, and floated in front of Aethion.
