" Papa! I am Kishore calling? "" Yes, boy what's the matter?" Papa! Its very serious!! "" Whats that all about. Shoot out the facts. "" Papa! Our Minoo is leaving us? "" Where she is going and why? Was there any dispute or discord with any one in the family? "" That's out of question.. "" Then why she is leaving? "" Papa! I find no words to describe the agony. "" Kishore chandra I have faced worst come worst situation and never gave up fighting with odds. So please viral the truth."" Papa, our Minoo is leaving us for her final journey. "" Oh No! Ravi chandra out cried his agony." What actully went wrong with her? "" Papa! She has fallen victim of stomach tumor!"" Oh God! " Ravi chandra out blast his agony with tears rolling down his cheeks.He tried to get rid of situation and asked whereabout his daughter." where is she? "" In Tata Memorial Hospital. "" O k. We are catching first available flight and reach Mumbai." And Papa do bring Sunder along. Minoo is waiting to see her brother. "" That is OK. "And they started their journey to Mumbai.As soon as flight took of Ravi kant slipped into the memoirs of old days. ' kanhaiya o kanhaiya tuj ko aana padega. On the eve of gokul ashtmi, Aarti had awakened me: " Please wake up. The time for your Kanhaiya is due. " I had quickly got up from bed and started keeping myself ready by completing routine. Aarti to was ready and I took her to maternity home by hiring taxi.Within 10 minutes time we reached the maternity home.Aarti was immediately rushed to cheking room.She was attended elegently but things were not moving normally. Doctor' verdict disturbed Ravi Kant to larger extent ." There is no chance of normal delivery. "This had disturbed Ravi Kant.Just after another gap of 10 minutes doctor approached with severe shock " Both mother and child would not survive? What you want?Normally a father under such condition has no option but to sacrifice the child in womb.Ravi kant gave consent to forget about the child and save the mother.Doctor too had same opinion which matched with medical science protocol.Despite mounting tension Ravi Kant was fully confident about his wife delivering male child. And relentless humming of song played within him. " kanhaiya o Kanhaiya tum ko aana padega " At this time he remembered what doctor had for cast. " There is no guarantee of normal delivery.. "Hospital in charge lady doctor too had suggested scissoring delivery.. This had pushed Ravi Kant in tensed situation.Doctor asked him to complete formalities." Mr. Ravi kant please sign the papers so that we start our job.He signed the papers and appeal the doctor." Please save my wife. "" Don't worry in such a situation our protocol saves the wife first.. Despite we too are human beings fail in our attempts.We are helpless in front of destiny of our patients.. "Exactly after two hour's tumultuous situation the doctor had broken the news." "And exactly after 10 minutes, Ravi Kant had entered the ward.His face was beaming with fullest joy which surprised his wife Rohini. Her husband's dream was ruined. But it did not make any difference for Ravi Kant. He had anticipated the birth male child and reverse was the result, which made no difference to him.Rohini was afraid of husband who would turn his face since his dream was not realised.It was evident that he had sportingly accepted the birth of female child.Despite she had casually inquired Ravi Kant what he was feeling about the situation.But he did not give chance to such question.He had immediately asked about the daughter." Where is my daughter? "" The nurse has taken away for wright. "" Can I go there?" Yes." But how I would identify girl? "" She has number 4 badge in her neck. "And Ravi Kant had rushed to the small room where all recently delivered children were lying.His joy knew no bounds to see his daughter's face.He had immediately praised with comments:" Our Minoo is really beautiful.. "" Vow! Great!! You have already selected name also! "" Yes! Rohini" Can I ask you a question? "" Sure by all means. "" You are not disappointed to see female child as against your long drawn dream of male child." Not at all. What's the difference between the two?"On hearing this, neighboring lady started crying, which amazed Ravi Kant. He showed sympathy and she outburst her agony." My people have run away to see the birth of female child.Ravi Kant approached her and consoled her with genius concern. "" Sister, don't you feel bad about that. Just bear in mind. Daughter is always better than boy.. She will always be available in critical situation.On hearing this the lady felt with the moral support provided to her.Ravi Kant also encouraged his wife." "And now their Minoo was on her way to abode.The idea about his daughter's destiny broke him totally.Rohini consoled her husband. And gets re linked with past memoirs" My great girl of 1970- tikdi, tabudi.Ravi Kant addressed his daughter with different which was not appreciated by Rohini.And to her annoyance Ravi Kant always gave feed back on his style." And some of his family members blamed Minoo for this calamity. Ravi Kant never thought on this line. Once in his presence his brother in law had severely commented" After the birth of Minoo, things have gone against him.Ravi kant did not spare him and made him to feel demoralised for his tomfullery comments.Ravi Kant did not leave any effort to keep his daughter gay and happy. For her he never thought of second child.But Minoo made him to think on this line :" Papa! Every friend of mine has a pleasure of having brother of own. I too to have brother of my own."It was rare thing one gets by chance. There was no guarantee that God would oblige him with birth of son. But Ravi Kant had assured her to accomplish desire as if buying toy from market..And after a month Rohini broke the news." Ravi! I am carrying again..Thereafter Rohini's life turned busy and hectic.. Minoo was too young. She wanted to help her mother but never knew what ever change took place was merely because of her demand for brother.And the day had arrived. Rohini had accomplished the wish male child and brother for Minoo.Life was getting ahead. Her brother was growing and some of responsibilities she shared with her mother.Minoo was mature much ahead of her age. She loved her brother like any thing and tried to do any thing and very thing for him.She loved her grand father too much and never tolerated any bad / indecent chat.Once I had used some bitter words for my father. She never liked my attitude and took my class like a disciplinery teacher." Why do you scold my Dadu like this. I warn you say sorry and promise you will never repeated.I begged her pardon by holding my two ears.This had earned title of master to Minoo and thereafter became ' Minoo Master for every body. But cruel destiny did not spare her.She was very fond of her brother Sunder.. And what cause troubles to almighty.At the age of 7 destiny played cruel role in Sunder's life.It was the day of Raksha Bandhan, the whole Ravi Kant sisters and Rohini 's brothers family members got together to celebrate the festival as usual.Sunder had met with an accident. Minoo had bought colourful rakhi. He was very fond of fancy rakhis.That day he saw some all exclusive rakhi on his cousin's wrist, which obsessed him a lot and asked for similar rakhi.On his demand Minoo sent him nearby market for purchase of alike rakhiBoth came out and proceeded towards the market. Sunder was humming song of rakhi all the way. " jane kaun bichhad jaye kab bhai bahna "They bought the rakhi turned way back home.That time one truck rushed to the spot beyond the speed limit.The truck struck Sunder badly and made him to fall down.The incident made him to get unconscious and purchase raakhi was fallen on the gate of gutter.And the song he had hummed few minutes ago really transformed the situation.Minoo overheard the news of accident left every thing on hand and rushed to the spot to learn about accident with her brother...
