YOUTH, LOVE AND LUST.

Love, Lust and youth

As Iam about to start writing about love I don't know from where to start. I will start with Bollywood since most of us Indians have grown up watching Bollywood movies, fantasizing about them. While I respect Bollywood a lot for reducing the suffering of common public by providing them entertainment and laughter, it has also brought international recognition to India. But for me personally Bollywood and other regional film industries have done somethings which I personally don't agree of like glorification of violence and true love. Bollywood has glorified true love and played with emotions of people to earn money. While many of Bollywood stars who preach true love in theatres have themselves married 3-4 times and have n number of affairs. Many of them are involved in drugs, criminal activities also. While the youth from middle class and lower-class idolizing Bollywood stars take true love too seriously and won't hesitate to cut throat of neighbors or relatives for just having any doubt about their spouse adultery. Many youths are even committing suicide due to having failure in love. For youths have been misguided about the whole concept of true love n all. Those who have taken love seriously have either committed suicide or started taking depression pill or have become alcoholics. So I believe the concept of true love though appealing to emotions is not practically feasible and very painful in real life. So, I think personally Bollywood stars and other rich people are wise people who have accepted the truth and moved on.

For I personally do not support polygamy or any other unethical behavior. But I firmly believe in giving freedom to an individual for choosing his/her path. Relationships are like birds if held tightly they will die, if left completely free they will fly, so we have to handle them gently. No relationship should be forcefully imposed on anyone. Any relationship that becomes harmful in personal growth and disrespectful towards each other it’s better to end it.

If we take lord Krishna’s view about true love, he is the epitome and best example of true love. Lord Krishna says true love is the one which liberates you and not binds you. Let’s take a look into his life. He loved Radharani very deeply and so does Radharani loved lord Krishna. Since Radharani was married to someone else they never physically consummated the love and did not marry. Even though lord Krishna loved Radharani but once he left Vrindavan at 14 yrs of age he never came back. As he firmly stood by performing his kingly duties and not to give into his personal feelings. He married 8 women's (Rukmini, Satyabhama, Jambavati to name few) only for his duty as a king. If we look deeper into lord Krishna's life he has sacrificed through his life and yet kept smiling. That is what lord Krishna stood for. Performing all worldly duties and defying personal pleasures and always working for welfare of society.

Many people say lord Krishna had 16000 wives but for they do not know that he had only 8 wives remaining all were the women he freed from demon named NaraKasur.  Narakasur was a fierce demon and son of Goddess earth. Demon Narakasur used to capture all beautiful women's by either killing their husbands or father and used to enslave them. He used the women for personal sexual pleasures. Once lord Krishna defeated Narakasur he released all these women's. But all these women wanted to commit suicide because they were not having any husband and been used as slaves, so society won't accept them. So, lord Krishna asked them to use his name as their husband and live happily in society.

So, lord Krishna never cared about personal welfare. He always performed his duties for welfare of society.

Another best example of true love is that of lord Shiva. For he waited millions of years to marry sati in the form of Mata Parvati. For Parvati was given lucrative offer of marrying lord Vishnu but she refused. So if someone is meant to be with you he/she will find a way. So trust in lord almighty plans. So all beautiful things may not be good but all good things are beautiful if u trust the process. Don't try to find shortcut for success or love. For anything achieved easily is also lost easily. So, trust the process.

According to lord Krishna excessive attachment to anything is harmful and may hinder anyone's progress. To take an example saint Ramakrishna Paramhansa who was devotee of Maa Kali and Maa Kali considered him to be her son. He was so attached with Maa Kali that he had to destroy her image by sword to set himself free from attachment to Maa Kali. So excessive attachment to anything is harmful. So, performing your duties by detaching Ur self from the result is the only solution for everlasting joy. For the result is in god's hand and we can only perform actions with full sincerity that's the best we can do it.  According to lord Krishna the one who considers win and loss as same, praise and insult as one, joy and sorrow as one, he/she is the most learned one and very dear to him. For he call them siddhapurush.

So message to all youth is don't fall in trap of love or any drug addictions for they are harmful. If u want to love start loving Ur self, your work and lord almighty for they will never betray you and use your weakness to harm you.  Seeing so many divorces and broken homes this is the best solution we can have.
