Designer Mug & The Funny Couple

The newly married couple moved to a newly constructed house. They were enjoying the tasty paratha in a jolly mood. Suddenly Priti became upset over a silly issue.
"Prem, why did you break my favourite designer mug?” asked angrily.
“Is it so precious? Sorry I broke your mug accidentally,” said Prem.
“Prem, It's precious designer mug material for me. It’s stylish because of its unique design, creative artwork and inspirational quotes. You know how I bought this beautiful mug of my choice. This beautifully designed special mug was the only piece in the shop.There was a tussle between customers to buy the same mug. One customer was prepared to pay an extra amount. The owner tossed and I won. You have disappointed me.”
“Priti, the shop owner has fooled you. This is a business tactic. Don’t worry, I’ll get you another beautiful, superior quality designer mug this coming Sunday.”
“Can you bring it right now?”
Prem did not expect such rude behaviour from his wife and rushed towards the shop and returned empty handed.
“Priya, I’m sorry. The shop owner told me it was out of stock and assured me it will be delivered next week.”
Priti was annoyed and left outside on her scooty.
He knew that her anger would come down soon.
What happened next after one hour?
Somebody was knocking on the door. Prem opened the door and was surprised to see Chintu, a naughty boy, son of a neighbour.
“Uncle, aunty gave this note for you.”
He started reading.
No matter what happens, my love for you will always be constant, even after a fight. We fight, we fix, we stay. Because fights are temporary but our bond is unbreakable.

Prem burst out in laughter. Priti arrived and hugged Prem. She bought a superior quality designer mug and thanked the boy,who overheard their conversation and helped Priti to buy the mug. When she came out, the boy was waiting outside.
“Chintu, what do you want as a gift? asked Priti.
“Aunty, if I ask something, can you give me?”
“Yes! Anything you can ask.”
“Can you give me coffee in the new mug? You know, I helped you get the new mug of your choice,” told Chintu.
Priti and Prem were astonished by the strange demand of the boy.
Priti fulfilled the desire of Chintu. Chintu didn't forget to wash the mug and say thanks. Then the boy left home smiling.
Couples continued their conversation.
“Prem, I'm sorry for overreacting about the mug.It was just an accident.”
“Priti, I like your acting talent. Don't repeat such acts and don't create uneasiness between us.”
“Yes, I was too dramatic, forgive me! Such accidents do happen but we have to be careful. In such situations, we must not lose our temperament.”
“Prem, I am repenting, I think I overdid mug drama.”
“Priti, you are right. Mug is just a material thing. Your love is truly what matters.”
“One thing is sure; a good mug brings a smile to your face. said Priti.
“Not only my face, Priti, your face also brings a smile.”
The designer mug was kept in a showcase and became the symbol of their funny moments thereafter. Whenever a relative or guest visits the home and asks about the mug, Priti explains the incident in a humorous way and everybody laughs.
The broken mug became a cherished memory, a reminder that love and laughter can follow.
