School Life - A Journey from Laughter to Tears

My School Life Memories
Hello friends!
Let’s go back to my school life. 😄

My journey started in a funny way — I didn’t want to go to school! 😂
On the first day of pre-nursery, my grandmother and elder siblings took me to school. They made me sit on the first bench of the classroom. The teacher was writing something on the blackboard, but I wasn’t paying attention at all.

Suddenly, I got up from the bench and ran away!
I went straight to my cousin’s class (he was two years older) and sat beside him on an empty seat. 😂

The teacher didn’t stop me, and I stayed there stubbornly!
And yes, that was my first and last day of pre-nursery! 😅

Later, I started going to local tuitions with my cousin sister (my bua’s daughter).
My mom would drop me off in the morning, and during the lunch break, all small kids would go to their elder siblings to eat.
But I was very quiet — I wouldn’t move until my didi came to pick me. 😌

After tuition, I would go to didi’s home.
There we played “ghar-ghar”, kite flying, and hide and seek with neighbourhood kids.
I used to trouble my brothers a lot. My two-year-older cousin was my best partner-in-crime.

Both of us used to scare his elder brother by saying “ghosts!”
Though he was older, he got scared of every little thing.
His reactions were so funny — an elder brother with childlike fear! 😂😂

After local tuitions, I finally started proper schooling at GTB Sr. Secondary School.

Nursery Class Adventures

In nursery class, I never understood anything being taught. Nothing made sense, and I never responded.
Still, somehow during results, I came first! I was given a certificate in assembly.

People are happy when they come first, but my reaction was so weird — not happy, not confused, just a straight “ok” face. 😂
I’ve always had such reactions since childhood!

LKG Class – With Jyoti Didi

Then came LKG, where my teacher was a known family member — Jyoti Didi.
I kept calling her “Jyoti Didi, Jyoti Didi” all the time.

One day, I asked for permission and went to the washroom.
There was an aunty sitting there to help little kids.
I didn’t really need to go — I just had phlegm stuck in my throat! 😅

At our home, we call it “khangaar”, but nobody in school understood that word.
Still, I made a gesture like Tom (from the cartoon) towards my throat...
And came back as if nothing had happened. 😂

That school gave me only a few weird, but cute memories.

One more memory — my two-year-older cousin was in the same school.
One day, he fell off his school bag and fractured his arm.
He got a plaster, and even though he was sad, we laughed because he kept asking everyone to sign his cast! 😄
