 FRIENDSHIP WITH POLITICS

Writing Friendship with Politics was not just

a creative journey for me—it was a reflection

of the reality I have witnessed as a student

of political science. While studying politics

academically, I became intrigued by theories

of governance, democracy, and public welfare.

However, observing politics in practice

revealed a stark contrast. People often did

not select leaders based on their capabilities

or governance skills; rather, elections were

swayed by money, misinformation, and

manipulative social media campaigns.

Witnessing the struggles of individuals

facing issues like water scarcity, pollution,

waste, and deteriorating infrastructure deeply

troubled me, prompting a desire to tell a story

that sheds light on these challenges.
