HEIRS OF HEART - 10

As the second round of the game came to a close, Shruti and Siddharth settled into their seats, taking a moment to catch their breath during the break. The excitement of the game still lingered, and they couldn't help but grin at each other.

"It was fun," Shruti said, her eyes sparkling with amusement.

"Right?" Siddharth replied, chuckling. "At first, I thought it would be trouble, but it was actually fun."

Shruti nodded in agreement, her smile still plastered on her face. "By the way...I didn't know we knew so much about each other," she said, referring to the quiz game. "I mean, I was surprised by how many answers we got right."

Siddharth chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Yes, I was surprised too," he said.

Shruti's eyes sparkled with mischief as she teased, "Guess we have a good companionship."

Siddharth's face lit up with a warm smile, and he began to say, "Yeah, I think so too. I felt that during the second round..." But he stopped abruptly, realizing he had revealed too much.

A soft blush rose to Shruti's cheeks, and Siddharth's face grew warm with embarrassment. The air between them seemed to vibrate with tension, and for a moment, they just looked at each other, the silence between them speaking volumes.

It was as if they had both acknowledged, without saying a word, that their connection went beyond mere friendship. The realization hung in the air, leaving them both feeling a little vulnerable and a lot more aware of each other.

The palpable tension between Shruti and Siddharth was suddenly broken as they heard the anchor's voice booming through the microphone, announcing the final round of the game. "Ladies and gentlemen! Are you ready for the final round!?"

The audience erupted into cheers and applause, and the contestants quickly gathered near the stage, their faces set with determination. Shruti and Siddharth exchanged a brief, excited glance before turning their attention back to the anchor.

"The third round of the game will be... Scavenger hunt!" the anchor announced, her voice dripping with drama. The audience cheered again, and the contestants nodded eagerly, ready to take on the challenge.

The anchor continued to explain the rules of the game. "The rules are simple. Both couples will be given a series of riddles to solve. We have hidden a card somewhere, and the couple who finds it will be the winner!"

Shruti's eyes sparkled with excitement as she turned to Siddharth. "We can do this," she whispered, her voice filled with confidence. Siddharth grinned back at her, his eyes shining with determination.

The anchor handed each couple a sheet of paper with the first riddle printed on it. "You have 30 minutes to find the card. Good luck, and let the scavenger hunt begin!"

With a loud cheer, the audience dispersed, and the contestants scattered in different directions, eager to start solving the riddles and finding the hidden card. Shruti and Siddharth stood tall, their eyes locked on each other, ready to take on the challenge and emerge victorious.

Both couples, Shruti and Siddharth, and Rohan and Ria, were handed their first riddles, printed on small pieces of paper. Shruti and Siddharth eagerly read the riddle, their eyes scanning the words.

"Where words are whispered and stories unfold,
Find the first clue, where tales are told."

They stood there for a moment, thinking deeply about what the riddle could be pointing to. Shruti's brow furrowed in concentration, and then suddenly, her face lit up.

"I got it!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with excitement.

Siddharth's eyes snapped to hers. "What is it?" he asked, his voice eager.

Shruti grinned mischievously. "Library!" she announced, her eyes sparkling with confidence.

Without hesitation, they both rushed out of the room, heading towards the central library. They burst through the doors, their footsteps echoing off the shelves. They made their way to the first shelf they saw and began rummaging through the books, searching for the next riddle.

After a few moments of searching, Siddharth let out a triumphant cry, holding up a small piece of paper. "We found it!" he exclaimed.

Shruti's face lit up with a beaming smile. "Yes!" she shouted, pumping her fist in the air.

They both gave each other a high five, their palms slapping together in a celebratory gesture. They grinned at each other, their eyes shining with excitement and anticipation. They knew they were one step closer to winning the game, and they were determined to keep their momentum going.

Shruti and Siddharth focused their attention on the second riddle, their eyes scanning the words.

"In a place where time stands still,
Find the next clue, where hours fulfill."

They stood there for a moment, thinking deeply about what the riddle could be pointing to. Siddharth's brow furrowed in concentration, and then suddenly, his face lit up with a burst of inspiration.

"I think I know where it is," he said, his voice filled with confidence.

Shruti's eyes snapped to his, her curiosity piqued. "Where?" she asked, her voice eager.

Siddharth grinned mischievously. "It's a clock tower," he said, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

Shruti looked around, her eyes scanning the horizon. And then, she saw it - a clock tower standing tall in the distance. "There it is!" she exclaimed, pointing it out to Siddharth.

They both quickly made their way towards the clock tower, their footsteps echoing off the surrounding buildings. As they approached the tower, they noticed a bright red, heart-shaped balloon tied to the railing.

Shruti's eyes lit up with excitement. "I think we're supposed to pop the balloon," she said, her voice filled with anticipation.

Siddharth nodded, and together, they reached out and popped the balloon. Inside, they found a small piece of paper with their final riddle printed on it.

They exchanged a triumphant glance, their hearts racing with excitement.

Shruti and Siddharth's eyes scanned the final riddle, their hearts racing with anticipation.

"I'm a symbol of love that's strong and true,
A token of devotion, forever shining through.
I'm attached with passion, with hearts that beat as one,
In Paris, I'm famous, where love just begun."

They stood there for a moment, thinking deeply about the riddle. They pondered the meaning of the words, trying to decipher the clue. And then, suddenly, it clicked. They both looked at each other, their eyes locking in a moment of mutual understanding.

"The Love Lock Bridge!" they exclaimed in unison, their voices filled with excitement.

Without hesitation, they rushed to the Love Lock Bridge, their footsteps echoing off the surrounding buildings. As they reached the bridge, they scanned the rows of locks, searching for the winning card. And then, nestled between two locks, they saw it - a small, shiny card with the words "Winners" printed on it.

Shruti and Siddharth exchanged a triumphant glance, their hearts soaring with joy. They had done it! They had solved the final riddle and won the competition.

As they made their way back to the competition grounds, the crowd erupted into cheers and applause. The anchor, beaming with a bright smile, rushed to congratulate them.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands together for our winners, Shruti and Siddharth!" she announced, her voice booming through the microphone.

Shruti and Siddharth walked up to the stage, basking in the glory of their victory. They were presented with a trophy and a bouquet of flowers, and as they held them up, the crowd cheered and whistled, celebrating their triumph.

As Shruti and Siddharth basked in the glory of their victory, the couple who had initially requested their participation in the game, approached them. They were beaming with pride and excitement, and their faces lit up with warm smiles as they congratulated the winning couple.

"Congratulations, Shruti and Siddharth!" the guy exclaimed, shaking their hands. "You two made an amazing team, and we're so thrilled to have you as our winners."

The girl nodded in agreement, her eyes shining with delight. "We're so glad you could participate in our game, and we're thrilled to award you with the grand prize – a romantic dinner date!"

Shruti and Siddharth exchanged a thrilled glance, their faces lighting up with excitement. "Thank you so much!" Shruti exclaimed, her voice filled with gratitude.

The guy smiled, his eyes twinkling with pleasure. "The dinner date will be held tomorrow evening at 7 pm at the luxurious Skyline Restaurant. You'll receive a confirmation call with all the details."

The girl added, "And don't worry about what to wear – our company has arranged for stunning outfits for both of you. You'll receive a call from our stylist to confirm the details."

Shruti and Siddharth looked at each other, their a aglow with excitement and anticipation.
